I know it's a little early (ten weeks to be exact) but I have some news regarding the staff at Two Wheels of Suches.Mary who has been there from the start is leaving after today for a job with benefits down in Dahlonega.I know there are those of you who prefer to call Mary on the phone and reserve your cabin or lodge room.Starting tomorrow,if you want to make reservations by phone there is a new person on the other end of the line,her name is Jenny and is a lovely Irish lass who will do her best to take care of our lodging needs.You can also reserve lodging via the website if you prefer. http://twowheelsofsuches.com/ As always,no reservation is needed for camping. I met an EBR 1190 SX pilot today who didn't know about the Badweb or the November event.He said he would like to join or ragtag band. Anyway,I look forward to seeing,riding and eating BBQ with you guys.So start the countdown! | ||

Awww... hate to hear Mary's leaving. Glad she's moving to a better job. IIRC her husband and kids were working there, are they staying? And... yeah, I could use some BBQ! Had what I expected to be a good burger last nite after work, WAAAY oversalted and overcooked. Grrr... now I gotta make some burgers! | ||

Gotta get back from Las Vegas the first of October, then assess things. I've got a very strong suspicion I'll make it. Didn't make BITA, but I know how to make it to TWoS faster.  And, yes, we shall toast to a good man gone. Seems I met Jim early on, but I didn't get to be a "Buell guy" until 2004. Damn- getting old happens fast! | ||
