I love my 1125r but I'd love to not have valve clearances, coolant, and crappy rear wheel bearings to worry about it . Plus Firebolts get better fuel mileage, especially if it's a 9.
It is a sexy motorcycle. I'm a fan of black and red. I wished they'd blacked out the frame, primary case, passenger peg mounts, etc.
Blue is nice; I'd like to see an XB in the same bold blue that was used on the 1190SX, and blue wheels. XB's look freaking awesome from behind. I'd also like to see an 1190rx with translucent fairing and airbox cover.
I stopped working in the HD/Buell dealership in 2008; I've forgotten all of the color combinations. I'm sure the 2009's were out when I left in August. I loved my XB9SX in kick ash. Sold it to get out of debt prior to joining the Army... still regret that but it was probably necessary. One of the best stock photo's ever:
I'd love to get another one of these, as well. An XB9 lightning would make a better beginner motorcycle for teaching my wife to ride... wonder if I could sell her on that.
