There is a vintage weekend going on at Two Wheels Of Suches right now and I have never seen as many motorcycles and people in the 18 years I've been hanging out at TWO/TWOS,there were probably 40 bikes parked across the street because there wasn't enough room in the parking area. Here are a few pics.
Some of you may remember Eric aka Riding Tall from the Buell demo rides at TWO and the 3% Bragging Rights Brag club.

Yeah, looking at the pix, I thought of the RC51 that was at the shop a few days ago. First time I saw one and knew what I was looking at... Then I got stuck on Google looking at RC51 pix. Even tho I hate Hondas, I could make an exception for that bike. At 18, I swore I'd never own another Honda after a bad "service experience" and have stayed true so far. Cool pix, thanks |

DAMMIT man. Thanks for the pics, post more if you have them. Otherwise, you just ruined my weekend. Does TWoS have a email list or anyone maintaining an active digital presence? I would have LOVED to have known about this. I had already took off tomorrow and Tuesday with plans to work on my truck, but DANG I would have loved to been there. Thanks for posting anyway Mike- I'd have been oblivious otherwise. Very nice pics, MORE PHLEEEZE! |

Brad,it was and is on TWOS's event calendar. To my knowledge there isn't an email list, you should check the events calendar periodically. http://twowheelsofsuches.com/events/ |

Thanks for posting the pics, Mike. IIRC, they actually posted about the event in the motorcycle ads on Craigslist in several areas; I'm pretty sure I saw it in the Charleston listings. I wish I could have made it over there with my 1983 Honda Ascot VT500FT. I'm working on a "light" restoration to it now; trying to spruce up the cosmetics a bit as well as a complete overhaul of the front forks. Hopefully next year. |

Hugh, that wasn't TWOS posting on Craigslist it was the sponsor of the event,a guy everyone calls "Bloke".TWOS lists events on their calendar only,it's up to the individual event sponsor to promote the event. "CBX Turbo. Nothing succeeds like Excess!" You should have heard it! |

Wow- thanks for the extra pics, and heads-up for that link! That Wes Cooley GS1000 brings back memories... a best buddy growing up had a dad and mom who rode, hers was a Seca 550, and his was one of those awesome Suzooks. DANG I wish I could've made it!!! Not gonna make Vintage Days at Barber this year, gonna be in Vegas, but maybe next year. A TWoS vintage weekend is more than doable, just gotta KNOW about it! |

Have no idea if he'll repete it next year but given the turn out I can't see why he wouldn't.Did you notice the fairing on the Goldwing custom? |

Thanks Mike! CB750f. V65 magna. 79 Goldwing.mine had Vetter faring. The rest remind me of everything my buddies rode. That 1100 V65 could carry the front tire six inches off the road to about 90 mph! Most fun bike ever.... Until my Buells happened! |
