There is a cultural war going on. None of these protagonists have the stomach for real war. They instantly switch to victim mode once police intervene or someone fights back. Liberal city centers and liberal college campuses have been the main areas of activity, mostly by inexperienced youths, activist professors, and immature adults. While it gets a lot of attention there's not too much to worry about, just yet. These are people living in largely insulated bubbles. It has been said that if their great social revolution does come to fruition there will be war...but thus far their antics have gotten a lot of attention, but has had the opposite effect than intended. | ||

The part that would worry me is not an uprising in the streets from the useful idiots. It's that these useful idiots can vote idiots into leadership positions. It's a cycle that feeds itself, and has been feeding for generations now. It's gotten to where a mainstream thinker, such as Trump, is made out to be a fringe lunatic. Add in the completely biased MSM and you have the makings for truly dangerous leadership taking hold, and destroying all that our country is. We are already witnessing leaders on the right lacking the backbone necessary to speak out against the lunatics, as well as a court system that has largely run amok. At some point, out country will be weakened enough to not resist leadership that has gone wrong. When that happens, it won't be the antifa who we are fighting in the streets, it will be the police, and military being ordered to shut down opposing thought. We are already witnessing the police being used to make this happen. Just look at C-ville, where the police pushed the two groups together into an armed melee, and then backed away to watch what happens. | ||

Any mention of the police stepping aside to allow this to happen? Actually worse than stepping aside. The policed the people going into the event, making sure they didn't have weapons, masks to hide who the were, etc., but then when the antifa group showed up, they then stepped aside. It's almost like they want to make sure they couldn't defend themselves. | ||

I recall some radio report suggesting the Berkeley police not wanting anyone to cross barricades into the park, but finally allowing Antifa to do so. Not sure if I was confusing that detail from the SF demonstration across the SF Bay. The campus police did the same at the big Milo riot. Disarmed the people there to see people speak, allowed the armed idiots to do their thang. It's become the way of such things. They claim moral superiority by fighting some make-believe evil, and are unopposed by campus police that are directed by a leadership afraid to lose any students over being "fascists." The plucky pseudo-conservative and self proclaimed provocateur essentially mocks the left and their ways, and in turn he is labeled a Nazi fascist white supremacist despite having a Jewish mother and a black boyfriend. The "anarcho-communists" never have any idea who the speakers are or what they're saying, only that they're fascist Nazis spouting the vile "hate speech" that threatens to destroy their fragile worldview. | ||

This smacks of blaming the victim. Berkeley's mayor wants to cancel a right wing free speech week. I guess the horrors of right wing speech happening right there at Berkeley is just too much to handle with a safe space for the snowflakes. The snowflakes are turning violent and so the speech of the right must be curtailed. This is the mindset that has been created by the premier liberal bastion of our country. They simply cannot deal with merely speaking of ideas that they disagree with. They have severely failed in the education of young pliable minds. Or is this exactly what they intended to teach? Time to get out the zip tie hand cuffs and start arresting those who commit violence, on the spot. Failing that, expect people to defend themselves, and expect more bloodshed. I really have zero sympathy for those from the left who get injured, or worse, when engaging in this crap. They are not victims. They are the wolves of society, and need to be culled.
