Thanks ya'll!....i think! I was told millennia and more ago, that I was three days older than dirt. I asked uncle Adam what that meant. Near as I can recon he said they were still busy with volcanos and such making the first rocks. Being born with sensitive feet they did not want to put me down on the sharp rocks. So mom and the other concubines took turns holding me until the first mounds of dirt were made from said rocks. For three days and nights I was passed from breast to breast waiting for this new dirt to be made. I still don't like dirt! | ||

..heck...i'm 63 and have AARP,retired too...no handicapped tags....yet...do lose track of the days of the week though  ..need to put the ole calender icon on the computer screen so i'll be in tune with the times...sheesh...age..what a concept..... | ||

Congrats for evading that reaper guy for another year, Vern. Don't know if I'm jealous of you retired guys or not. Turned 62 last year and for my B'day, I bought a couple of mills and opened a machine shop. Never worked so long and hard in my life, but I'm the Boss. | ||

I am not retired yet. Just self employed and moving slow enough that it looks like I am. Lost a couple of retirement programs through trusting banks in the 90's then the Socialistic economic down turn that killed off so many of my corporate customers. That will keep me working into my foreseeable future until I sell the farm. Happy for those of you able to reap what you have sown. My luck in setting up retirement has been akin to Charlie Brown kicking the football. Found out "secure money" means "good luck" in American english. Enron, Fanny Mae, Freddy Mac, Obamination, wonder who's money they stole? |
