DANG jealous. As life turns out, I'm on-call tomorrow (don't expect to work), then working Thursday, then my RO for Friday/Sat/Sun is in effect- plus probably Monday/Tuesday off next week. I enter a state of Zen while crossing the vast expanses of prairies and undulating plains. Brent has a very nice home in a quiet city... yes, that's right it's a city. Hard to wrap my head around this being a city, but a city it is nonetheless. To help everyone else out with this concept, I will embed an image that will clearly delineate the difference between city limits and open country. See below:  We had some KC BBQ for dinner which was quite good. I've got 2 pounds of burnt ends left to take with me to Pinner Dave's place in Colorado for tomorrow's evening repast. I'd like to point out that once again because of BadWeB, this brotherhood that we have, people who have never met in person opening their homes to virtual acquaintances to shelter a weary traveler for the night. For this instance, and for this thing that we've created, I am eternally grateful. Brent, thank you again for the hospitality. You're a stand-up guy who lives in a city with an awesome lawn mower. | ||

OK... I'm up. Looking at myself in the mirror, I realize forgetting the sunblock and relying on a hat to keep the sun off me was a critical mistake. I'm crispy fried and really dehydrated. I'm slugging down some water and I guess I'll need to rub some aloe all over my head and keep the top up today. Yeah, yeah... I know... you told me so. I'll be heading out in about an hour. | ||
