My dad one time said I would likely have a tough time staying married because I could not pay attention long enough. Today we crossed into thirty years. Four adult children and eight grand children keep us busy and happy and perpetually feeling loved. To my wife thanks for this day and the previous 4450 or so that came before it! Let's see what our tomorrows bring. Signed a lucky man. |

Good on ya Vern. Wife and I married 11 years ago, shooting to see a 50 year anniversary. I'll be 102 and she'll be 99 if we make it. Hope I'm still on a bike......... Z |

Congratulations to you both. We're headed for 32 years this year. It appears to be becoming less common these days for folks to stay wed for life. Chris C |

Many congratulations are in order! You and your wife are the foundation of an otherwise crumbling society. Keep up the good work, and many blessings on your next 30 years! |

I'd credit some of the success to Dad. He only had to say it once and it took. |

Made 10 the first time, just past 20 the second, (so far). If I manage to stay breathing, I'm looking forward to 30... Congratulations! |

Congratulations, Vern! It seems so fast doesn't it? Laurie and I are coming up on 33 so welcome to the 30 Club. Listening, liking, and forgiving is a two way street and kinda helps getting through the tough times. Badwebbers are truly remarkable people. |

That's not bad. My mother told me I'd die miserable and alone. Fourteen years so far.

As a child I remember going to my Great Grandparents 75th wedding anniversary which I couldn't believe! So it has happened, you just need to get started really early! Congrats my friend, not an easy task. |

congratulations to all here in celebrating their time in their relationships. We were visiting at my grandparents on their 60th anniversary. my wife overheard grandmother talking to her half sister. Great aunt asked grandmother well what do you feel on this special day? The answer was "Oh, its just another day!" not another word between the two women was said. Wife was telling me this later that night. What I had seen for years was two people lived in the same house but really never touched hands, kissed or any other form of affection between the two. I learned a lot of what not to do in my marriage. My folks had been married for 36 years when dad died. wifes folks married for 33 years when her dad died. Moms passed in 2009 and 2010. I've learned that life is way too short to turn the cheek to things that niggle you or her. live life, love, and pass that stuff on. As well, my wife and I are in our 43rd year together. long comment but still , congratulations to all! |

My wife asks me to go places I don't want to go. I jump up and go. One of these days one of us will be gone. I would want to go any where with her if I was left. |
