These guys just moved into my neighborhood at a park less then 1/4 mile away from my house. Its been cool watching them build the nest and hatch an egg. The Eaglet hatched almost a month ago and should be growing his feathers soon. Here are a few vids, ill be getting more videos of the baby as it grows. Hopefully its able to survive in this highly populated urban area.

Very cool!
It makes the buzzards over here look small.

Also nice surrounding bird sounds.

Very cool.
Here, we have prairie falcons, redtail hawk and a pair or two of nesting baldies.
Was outside having a smoke and watched a pair of redtails fighting yesterday.
A couple of weeks back, there were 3 baldies and either a pair of redtails or young eagles that were being attacked by a falcon.

The falcon would dive at an eagle and it would roll over and show claws at the falcon.
Was quite a show...

Your right. I had one land in my front yard and scare off two buzzards. It amazing how big they are "in real life" and not a zoo setting so you have some context of size. It was the same height as my 4 year old at the time. crazy

thanks for the videos

Tq-freak ,the buzzards is the biggest of all we have over here.

I have a taxidermy Buzzard ,from 15 years ago.
It was hit by a semi truck and broke it's neck ,so i took it home and put it in the freezer.
Later had it made nice by a preparator ,and now it's standing on a cabinet.

It's much nicer to see them alive ,but it was in really good shape and sad to see it go in the ground.

Watch a pair of fledgling bald eagles live 24/7...

The breeding pair have been regular inhabitants at Berry College in Georgia since 2012

9 out of 10 eggs have hatched and fledged.

We love our hawks around here. A couple of years ago, we actually had a "kettle" directly above the back deck... at least 2-3 dozen, riding an updraft. Just amazing.

Had a big redtail swoop down about 20 feet over my truck yesterday, with 3 crows chasing it... beautiful days, happy birds!
