Yes a good read. My uncle told me about one of his first bikes. It was a suzuki two stroke of some type. He said it "mostly" blew up. He felt something let go and limped it home with even more rattling than usual. When he took the head off, needle bearings from the bottom end were sticking in the crown of the piston like a porcupine. Transfer ports can transfer solids as well as air+fuel. I love two strokes but they want to blow up even more than iron sportsters. |
