Almost time for the annual ADK ride up to Lake George and the surrounding Adirondack Mountains. Most updates will be posted on the FB event page! I did the SX 2 years ago. Then again, I just had the wheels powder coated and it has fresh rubber, so maybe I will bring it, but I got the itch for another old slow tuber. | ||

I'm not allowed to buy any more bikes, but I suppose trades are a loophole. I got an offer to trade my 1125CR for a S1, so we will see what happens. I love my CR too much to give it up, but damn I want more bikes  Njloco, May 19 – May 21, it is held in Lake George NY. People come from every direction, usually a bunch come up from Jersey on Friday, ride side roads to Lake George, then Saturday is a big ride on a currently undetermined route. I have a tradition of losing parts at some point in the trip, and I seem to have a growing collection of condiment holders. | ||

Have a good time, I can't make it this time around due to the Doc not letting me ride my motorcycles until he see's me again, beginning of next month, that will be 6 months of no riding since the accident ! | ||

Yeah the doctor told me it would be months till I could go riding after my acl surgery. 1 week later I rigged up a highway peg on the left side of my XB12R and rode around in 2nd gear for a few months.  doc. Should have seen the look on his face when I walked into my follow-up appointment with my helmet. | ||

After I had my heart surgery, I was not allowed to drive for almost two months. However, my Heart Surgeon was into bikes and we formed a little bit of a bond when he saw my Moto Guzzi sweatshirt. It turned out that he'd always wanted a Guzzi, but never got one. He gave me permission to start riding a couple of weeks before I could start driving if I promised him that I'd be careful. That first ride was such a joy, I can't really describe it. I didn't go far, but I was finally free again! Loco; I hope you get that same feeling when you get to ride again. | ||

The wife threw me out of the house yesterday, she could see I was getting real tempted to jump back on the bike and do some riding. So I drove my truck down to the archery club and shot for a few hours, that calmed me down a bit. Before the accident I was in pretty good shape for an old guy, I could do 3 sets of 30-40 push-ups, 3 sets of 75-100 crunches, now I can barely do 30 crunches one set, I still can't do a single push up, I'm really starting to get pissed ! On a brighter note, I went back to work today for the first time since Nov.6th of last year, I barely made it through the day. Crusty, I'm sure it will be every bit as thrilling ! You guys have a great time, I'll do my best to stay out of trouble and maybe see you next year depending on when we leave for Alaska. | ||

I might be out on this one unfortunately. I just saw that I have a concert on the 19th and I doubt I'll want to get up and ride all day that Saturday but you never know. But for now it looks like I'm out. | ||

Enjoy this weekend, the weather looks very nice. I still can't ride more than 20 minutes, so it's short trips for me right now but I do hope to be there next year. | ||

We had a great time at the ADK Buell Rally. On Monday, the first day back from the rally, Tim thought it was time to join the family. I think we'll see you all again next year, unless we see you sooner.  | ||
