Zac4mac, why feel hurt? It was just a wild guess based on my learned hatred for any group that promises to murder me and rape my children. Old fashioned of me, I know. I could easily have been wrong. I just figure that when someone lies to you, over and over, day after day, it's a good bet that the next words you hear are lies. But not always. Even Bill Clinton couldn't lie 100% of the time, he'd never get what he wanted at McDonalds. Ditto the Propaganda Arm. Mass murder? Assume the first response is to protect their allies. The irony of the Cult of Godless Communism aligning itself with another cult of totalitarian intolerance is huge. Islamist creed is to destroy the Godless. But they are happy to exploit them long enough to destroy the greater threat, free Republics. That's what the left has been saying all along. Terrorism is caused by our response to terrorism. If we would just leave terrorists to their own schemes, we would have nothing to worry about and they'd all be cute cuddly play things. Several years back in Thailand (which has had islamic terrorist problems for a long time), the President was blamed for creating terrorism. You see, his policy of arresting terrorists is what caused them to attack in the first place... For decades, people who have been concerned about a globalist agenda have been laughed at as being tin-foil hat wearing loonies. Come to find out, they were right all along. Folks like Soros, the Clintons, Angela Merkel, etc are driving the bus. I'm sure there are a ton more that I don't know about. Alex Jones' take is that the globalists LOVE islam because it does their job for them. It brings unrest and wars and emergency and the need for a global police state. 20 years ago that would have sounded ludicrous. Today it sounds like... it's too late to fix the problem that's been going on all along (but has been growing exponentially since Barry's policies have been implemented. Remember, the 21 foot rule, which is really situation dependent. No one is going to walk up to 21 feet from you, then start yelling and running with a knife already in hand. It's not going to happen like the rehearsals. I'm a proponent of carrying self defense knives (EVERYWHERE). I like the SOCP. Had one for a few years now. It's best used to make room and time for the deployment of a firearm. Practice drawing your pistol and firing with the SOCP still in your hand. I wished that I had bought the practice SOCP when I bought it. | ||

I was given mine as a gift and I thought, oh that's a cute knife. Then somewhere down the road I discovered it's intended purpose and usage, and I gained a new understanding and appreciation for it. Now, it never leaves my belt except when I'm changing pants or using it. It's just so much more convenient than reaching into my pocket for my Buck folder. My one gripe about it is that it's one of these new fangled steels that require special tools or hours of elbow grease to sharpen. That's why I like my Buck 440 knives, in just a few minutes they're as sharp as the day I bought them. | ||

As an example, Saddam Hussein was pretty uncaring who noticed that he raped women at whim. Who was going to stop him?  I would argue that the "top of the American political ladder" is nowhere near the top of the political ladder in an islamist culture. Here, they may be able to rape a few, silence a few, murder a few through disconnects. In islamic nations, you can rape many, murder many, in front of all, and anyone who dares to say anything is executed in public, and even the heads of civilized states are afraid to say anything about it. Remember the Afghan police chief who had a prepubescent "chai boy" chained to his bed as a sex toy, and when he was confronted by a team of Special Forces, he laughed about it? That's at the DISTRICT level in muslim countries. That's like county level. That might happen in America, but not openly. Not without a prison sentence and a murder while in prison. There comes a point in time where it is time has to hang up the fishing rod, give up on the daily job and paying the bills, and go to war. For most of us that time is not here yet, most of us still go to our jobs, pay our bills, go fishing when we can find the time, and still try to learn something new like playing a guitar. The day may soon come where all that changes. I hope that day doesn't come, but I'm concerned that it may be coming too soon. Until then I repair my bikes, go to work, keep coffee in my cup, clean clothes on my back, practice a little music and try to learn music reading, and keep fresh food in the cooler. And every so often when I've got a couple dollars to spare I buy a small box of shells or other survival/defensive/offensive items and set them aside. There is far too much corruption and misinformation to deal with it all actively on an hourly basis, so I filter and verify and clarify and sort out immediate short term needs, then I go about trying to live my life. And each day as I drive to and from work, dealing with impatient drivers, listening to the news for shootings and riots and protests that might affect my commute, I also watch the overpasses and side roads and out of place people in case all-hell starts to break out. Sometimes it can seem overwhelming, but I carry on, ready to hold the door to a store open for one stranger, and ready to end a potential attack of another. No harm, no foul, but all bets are off if someone decides to act out their zealous beliefs. Most people seem and appear to be blind to the happenings in the world today, but only because they are just trying to maintain their everyday life. Be safe out there, things can change in the blink of an eye. If anybody needs me I'll be elsewhere for awhile, maybe buying a music book, maybe groceries for dinner, or maybe powder and primers for a day I hope never comes. (the Mexicans have a YUGE head start here, obviously) Which group is less likely to tolerate the other? I hope the Hispanics win out on that one. Prior to the Crusades, Islam was tolerated, if not welcomed into Europe. Then Islam started to enforce Sharia law. First among themselves, but they forced their beliefs down the throats of the original population. Eventually, it got to be too much, and they were thrown out.
