Glad that the initial report is positive. You can definitely get a worse report than that after cancer surgery. |

Robin came home last night. Surgery was 8.5 hours, they woke him up the next morning. Again, they think they got everything out, and the next step is to wait and see what kind and how much chemotherapy there will be. Thanks again to everyone who is helping out with prayers of healing. |

Here's the latest update from my cousins... Hello, We saw the oncologist today, it went as expected. Robin will be getting chemo for the next six months, starting in about 2 weeks. Of the 27 lymph nodes they removed only one tested positive for cancer, which I think is good. This with the very small spots they found in his lungs, they put him at stage 4. He is doing really good for someone who's had his insides pulled out and chopped up. He is still sore and slow moving around, but doing better every day. He is eating what ever he wants, but just much smaller amounts for now. Thank you for all the prayers, keep them coming. Lots of love, Tracy & Robin Thanks to everyone who jumped on the prayer wagon, let's keep it rolling! |

May help with the nausea. I actually drank it when my wife had the nausea. I have a cousin that is not long for this world right now. He is trying to get his affairs in order. Please, pray for Butchy. |

Every day we get on this side of the dirt calls for thanks, and prayers for those who may be struggling, or about to go. Certainly, RD, my best for your cousin. He's gotta be someone I'd appreciate, what with the moniker "Butchy"... sure hope he lines up those ducks and corrals the cats. I found out this past Wednesday that a great friend of mine had passed, Rick Connacher. He was the main instructor and coordinator for the MSF program at Smoky Mountain HD for several years. He and his wife Ruby were the real deal. They had a FLHTC with a sidecar, which they would ride out to Texas and beyond, Ruby and their cat in the sidecar! Ruby had passed about a year and half ago, and at 79, Rick succumbed to a combo of things going wrong, not the least a broken heart. He was one of those guys who had a salty saying about anything, who laughed and created laughter everywhere. That's what made him such a good instructor- good humor made all his students relax and progress through the weekend in MSF. I'll miss him deeply. Pray for his daughter, June, and the rest of his kin. Me included. Matthew, good to hear your cuz is hanging tough. Won't be long before you and I toast to his health, in Suches. |

Robin had to postpone his 6th round of chemo due to low white blood cell count. He has been feeling pretty sick and worn out lately. Tracy is taking him and the kids up to their cabin to relax for a couple of days, and they will try again this week. |

That chemo regimen is tough to deal with- anyone I know who's gone through it says the same thing. Matthew, did you get to speak with Mary? Maybe few know, but apparently she had to deal with the big "C" herself earlier this year, plus two surgeries, JUST before she had to open TWoS. She and I talked about it a while Saturday... bless her heart. Prayers and restful, restorative mojo for Robin. |
