>>>You put the money in the plate, then it is none of your business what it is spent on after that.
True to a point. But when I see obvious signs that the money is being put to what I believe is poor use, it becomes my decision and responsibility to stop putting money in that particular plate. We are to be good stewards of our finances, and if my money is being put to waste, I find a better place to put it.
it becomes my decision and responsibility to stop putting money in that particular plate. I am careful to try and discern my opinion developed through attitude from God's will laid out in scripture. If I disrespect his ministers because I think something in my mind, I try to remember that God had a prophet lay naked in public to make a point. My stewardship relies on tithes and getting the plate right from the get go. A lot of prayer needs to go before my actions. Do I judge you? God forbid. My judgement is often in error. I prefer to not be judged in error at the transition.
Anybody else watch that Waffle House Girl deflecting that chair video? I admit it, it was a guilty pleasure to watch that clip about 50 times. I've seen the whole video as well. Girl does not mess around...
What that video says about our society and what watching it says about me I don't really know or care. All I do know is that Waffle House in the Ghetto late at night is a crazy ass scene.
30+ years ago Metallica released the Black album. ( did they steal that from Spinal Tap? ) And the hit, Enter Sandaman. One of the most covered songs, ever, along with hits from Deep Purple and Black Sabbath.
Some years back, a young power trio of sisters from Monterey Mexico recorded a cover, that went viral, and now they write their own music & tour the world. Their drummer has been called the great granddaughter of Keith Moon. They did a TED talk. Opened for Halestorm!
Then ( I'm guessing to pay taxes ) Metallica put out the Blacklist album, of other groups doing covers of their songs.
