Voted. Got to work just before 3:00 PM(AZ time). Listened to music until 10:30 PM. Turned on PBS station (news stations are hard to find with all the CNC machines running). Started giggling after listening to the forlorn voices and comments of the broadcasters. At midnight they gave it up and switched to the BBC who were calling it for Trump. It was a good night. G | ||

Good. Now, I plead with people, don't mistake the mandate here. Trump won for two reasons... 1) The American people will not tolerate corrupt leaders, and leaders who put their own self interests ahead of the interests of the country. No matter what party you are in, if you do this, we will fire you and prosecute you to the best of our abilities. 2) We are constitutional conservatives, and we don't hate gays, minorities, or the poor. We want gays, minorities, the poor, and every other American to be able to exercise their first amendment rights, their second amendment rights, and every other constitutional right. And we don't want their children to be born into two years of economic slavery because previous generations spent their money without their representation. My Democrat friends are telling me "he's just in this ti enrich himself" to which I have responded "There are millions of folks and an angry media" who will hold him to account and demand he "Make America Great Again". I just read this article in the New York Times. These folks REALLY don't get it. It has NOTHING to do with race, gender or sexual orientation. I'd bet most of the folks who voted for President Trump could give a flying rat's ass about those things. What matters is honesty and integrity. We will not allow folks to weaponize the IRS, lie to us about "it was a video" . . .while sending an "it was terrorists" e-amil to her daughter at the same time. . . . we will not allow the Justice Department to be "directed" who to pursue and not pursue. We will not let stupid people like Rahm Emmanuel off the hook when they do something so stupid as to provide guns to a bunch of criminals and then act astonished when criminals commit a crime. I don't think any of the media has a clue about how genuinely pissed off America was/is. | ||

Let's be honest . . . . for the most part, we represent a fairly conservative mindset. I can't speak for others but I, long ago, stopped caring about anyone's gender, race or sexual orientation. I've found that great people and idiots tend to be fairly evenly distributed and choosing on anything other than character is a fool's errand. | ||

Krugman is a very reliable source. Always wrong. Barry is disliked because he's corrupt & dishonest. His campaign charges half a million cash for access. On the close order of a Billion dollars in his stash came from Arab countries, illegally. You didn't build that. If you like your..... keep your. It's all about a video. So we have all these crybabies with their useless sociology and paranormal psychology degrees living in mommy's basement and having to remain on the family health insurance plan until they are 26, which hinders the parents' ability to actually retire while they are still young enough to enjoy their remaining years on this planet. Go further back (in the educational process) than a degree. Writing. HANDWRITING. Grammar. Counting. Basic ••••••• MATH. If all we're teaching our kids is txt-spk and emoji...we reap what we sow. If we want our kids (and our society) to thrive...we have to give kids a reason to try. Trophies mean nothing when everybody gets one. Get used to disappointment. Don't like losing? Try harder. Can't get good at football? Try baseball. Or chemistry. Everybody is good at SOMEthing. Find it and cultivate it. | ||

OUCH!! I hate to reveal this but....My wife became unemployed in August.I became unemployed in mid October..She has a Masters in Justice studies.I have a H.S. Diploma from Voc/Tech in Machine Shop and a few college courses in CAD/Geometric Tolerancing and dimensioning.I have had 5 interviews/w 4 SOLID offers where they EXPECTED me to come work for them..My wife MAY have her 1st interview tomorrow..She is working HARD to get a job but,they're just not there.. |
