I'm listening to one of the network echo chambers (CBS I think). They still don't get it. They think people are afraid and clinging to guns and bibles and running to Trump because he is promising lies we want to hear. Uh, no. We think he is kind of a dick. But we are tried of being lectured by an elite ruling part, an elite media party, and an elite entertainment industry, that over estimates their own intelligence and underestimates ours. Hillary Clinton sold out the country for her own gain. We fired her. End of story. Obama had a chance to be the great unifier he promised to be, and to solve problems like the cost of health care, and he turned out to be a good speaker but an even worse partisan hack and liar then the Republicans we were getting progressively more pissed at also. We fired him also. It's not that we want Trump, its that we find the other options even worse. Trump was the man for the hour because he could play the media at their own game and win. We don't like that game, but if it's the only game around we want to win it. | ||
