Did Trump Lie to the FBI about being brain damaged? Did Hillary? I'm pretty sure that neither one lied to the FBI about being brain damaged. I guess in the eyes of the MSM, that would put them on equal ground.
The latest infodump from the FBI ( on friday after the news cycle, of course.. that's when you release stuff to be forgotten ) is that the FBI was ONLY investigating if Hillary or her minions were in the employ of a foreign government as spies.
Nope. Her lies and felonies were completely selfish and all about her. They confirm she's completely guilty, but it's not deliberate espionage. It's incompetent espionage.
I look forward to the infodump where they tell us how many Allied agents she got killed.
Did anyone watch her on Jimmy Fallon's show? If what she said was from anyone else I would have likely choked on my drink.
She stated to Jimmy that she was above all of that negative campaign stuff and was simply not going to go there as a matter of practice. As she completed that statement, in the same breath, she started right in bashing Trump. With Jimmy's help she continued doing so for the rest of her time on the show as if she had never made the statement at all.
I do miss the times when politicians cared enough to have "thinly veiled lies", to the "I'm speaking at all lies".
So when will the voting become available to be done like on the contestant type TV shows? Seems like it would cut down on all of that voter booth problem, and having to get off the couch. How does that work? pay ATT a dollar to vote ten times? Well at least dead folks cannot vote(after their phone is shut off).
Ever wonder how many people are truthful to pollsters? I know I like to mess with them when they call me when I am working.
Am I the only one who has no interest in watching the Debates tonight? I just feel like it will be totally rigged against Trump and for Hillary.
I had someone at work today mention the debates tonight. Given that we have to be up and at work at 5:30 AM, I asked her if she was really going to stay up to watch the debates. She said she had to because at this point she was clueless who to vote for. I really didn't have a clue how to respond to that.
Popular Radio Host Michael Savage Broadcast Shut Down Nationwide as He Discusses Clinton’s Health By Sundance, September 26th, 2016
Wow. This is quite remarkable.
Michael Savage is a very well known radio talk personality. The Savage Nation is a nationally syndicated talk show that is the second most listened-to radio talk show in the country with an audience of over 20 million listeners on 400 stations across the United States.
Earlier today he was discussing his perspectives on the presidential debate and giving examples of current and anticipated debate bias.
In addition, the broadcaster began discussing Hillary Clinton’s mysterious health condition that Savage believes might be Parkinsons.
Almost immediately, and without any notification, New York (tri-state area) radio station WABC-Radio TV cut Savage off the air and replaced him with the lesser rated Curtis And Cooby Show.
Shortly thereafter, as Michael Savage discovered the issue and began discussing what was going on in/around the New York broadcast area, all Savage affiliates nationwide cut off the broadcast and replaced the live transmission with a recording of a previous show.
Here’s a recording of the 2nd hour broadcast today that explains what was going on, as it was going on in real time, and as Savage began finding out what was happening. The explanation culminates best around the 23:00 point of this audio:
She was poised and firm at the debates...but also appeared to have canned answers and didn't get a single question concerning her notable indiscretions.
Not so... she got some too. I watched more than one station at a time, and I noticed that some had different microphones turned on or off, so maybe the audio from certain sections of the audience wasn't being broadcast.
Just guessing, but I definitely heard the audience applauding her almost exactly the same amount as him.
( as an Aside in the Novel "The Last Centurions" the fictional President is obviously Hillary and in time of crisis ( the whole book ) is drugged to keep her from freaking out and on her feet for announcements. I no longer find that right wing fantasy. )
General opinion seems to be Hillary won on substance. ( helps to actually be a Puppet )
Mostly by looking normal-ish.
But minority opinion is Trump won by not being an obvious nutball. Which is all he has to do to win, not be crazy.
................
I read Puppet Masters in 5th grade. Before many here were born. And yeah, "Puppet Masters" was the best made Heinlein movie yet. The funny part is critics said it was a knock off on "aliens take over humans" movies.... which the book preceded by decades. By the time they actually make a decent version of a Heinlein novel, it's been ripped off so many times it seems old fashioned.
I include any actual attempt to do a Starship Troopers movie without turning it into the Dutch Directors political rant. ( he hated the book... and never read it ) People would be SHOCKED by a good version of that book... It SHOULD make the special effects in Pacific Rim & Avengers look wimpy.
Starship Troopers 2+3 rank as some of the worst movies ever made... and top the list on worst shot at source material.
^ Patrick- That's one I need to go back and read. Interesting about the critics views on the movie; much like critics bombing "John Carter" (God forbid we add "of Mars") for being a rip off of "Star Wars".
+1 on Starship troopers. That book really deserves a proper adaptation.
Plenty of speculation on the 'net today that Clinton received advance copies of the questions, had written answers at her podium, was wired with an earpiece, etc.
None of this, if true, is at all surprising or out of character.
On a related note, who's the "cleaner" that darts to her podium at 1:35:36 and retrieves her notes (and why)?
I heard a very interesting and telling statistic about the debate today. Holt didn't ask a single follow up question of Hillary. That's astounding if you are trying to get anything but the well practiced answers that a candidate has. First off it shows the incredible bias of the moderator. Beyond that, it makes it so much easier on the candidate when you don't have to go off script to avoid sounding like a broken record when pressed for real information. Our media has failed us.
For what it's worth, I didn't stay up for the debate. There is nothing that Hillary could ever do or say to make me think she would be voting for. I've seen her in action for decades now. She is beyond redemption.
"For what it's worth, I didn't stay up for the debate. There is nothing that Hillary could ever do or say to make me think she would be voting for. I've seen her in action for decades now. She is beyond redemption"
Precisely correct. I read the end of 'the name of the wind' instead. At least I learned something.
>>>Note that the cleaner waits for a moment at the side of the stage, then appears to seek out moderator Lester Holt.
Don't know who he was . . . but he was a "man on a mission" . . . he appeared in several shots holding on to those notes for dear life . . . then tracking Holt down.
