Wait... Where were we? Oh, yeah... Here's the crux of this conversation... H0gwash says Trump has multiple positions on every major political theme and now has claimed belief in both positions on Obama's birth status in as many days. Both positions in as many days? By my count that would be two. I respond asking for some recent reference of Trump pushing the birther thing recently with The ONLY thing I've seen Trump say about the birther thing in recent days is that BO was born in the US. That was at a news conference to respond to Hillary. It was classy of him to announce the news conference, and use it to honor our military heroes then just give the press that one single line about the birther issue. Feel free to post any other references to the birther thing if you can. Hillary's been pounding the pavement on it. Flat out lying about it BTW. Sad to see you support such character. You will be known by your associates. H0gwash comes back with Surely your memory goes back more than just a few days. How very "Clintonian" of you. Clintonian BTW is pretty much synonymous with dishonest. But, we can all now agree that the only one who has been discussing the birther issue, has been the one who is documented as starting it. Of course, she is lying about starting it, and is blaming Trump. How very Clintonian of her. And you. |

One of the guys I work with is a seriously crazy conspiracy nut. Kennedy Assassination, CIA, Mafia, 9/11 "Truther" and firmly Convinced Obama's dada is Frank somebody... ( He also has theories about Hitler, The Illuminati, and Vrill energy... go figure ) Me? Lee Harvey Oswald, ex Marine, treasonous spy wannabe, rejected by the KGB for being too loony, and, yes, you actually can fire 3 shots from a bolt action rifle in 5 seconds. Now if the CIA & Mafia were involved, the witnesses are dead, and sure the killing of Lee by a strip club owner with ties to the mafia ( and what strip club owner doesn't? ) was suspicious, but you don't need any of that to explain the facts. If Pressed, I will admit the Comedian was involved. I saw it in a Movie. If you buy that you are sooooo stupid. 9/11? I'd think the video by Osama bin laden himself was enough,he not only claimed credit, but bragged that most of the hijackers were fodder, and he tricked them into death. Fortunately for us AQ's only genius hit the twin towers. Unfortunately, we didn't have any geniuses in charge afterword. Seismic graphs? I read them. Yes, I know how. Watched the overly long video where they synchronize the seismograph with the news video of the second plane hitting the Tower. Looked like a plane hitting a building to me. Tower collapse was the classic pancake failure which is how skyscrapers fall down when they burn. ( See the book, "The Towering Inferno" ) Third building fell down? The foundations were destroyed by a multimegaton impact. Seriously, how stupid are people? Don't answer that. Barry's dad? I don't know. Don't care much, and I'm not even sure his sainted and insane mother knew for sure. Either Barack Sr. or Frank the pedophile is a crappy choice if you ask me. Hillary sick? Sure, people get sick on campaign. She's got multiple chronic illnesses including probable brain damage from strokes. ( SHE used her health as an excuse to lie to the FBI... so it's a legit issue ) Still, I see this as a sympathy ploy and distraction from her campaign's theft and corruption. Birther crap? Started by Hillary, still played by Hillary. If Trump mentioned it in the last 4 years, I missed it. Wake up. Grow up, and while you're at it, get freaking cynical. It's a survival trait in a world with Hillary & Donald. You may not like this guy, but everything here checks out. http://fredoneverything.org/legion-of-the-tinfoil- hat-fred-reveals-his-martian-loyalties/ |

I just saw this on Facebook: "I hear that train a comin’ It’s rollin’ round the bend. Gonna pick up Mrs. Clinton And take her to the pen. They’ll have her coronation Make her cell block queen Hillary for prison two thousand and sixteen They’ve got an orange pants suit Hangin’ on the wall And a cell for Bubba Willie Just a little down the hall. We’ll put ‘em in the big house Lock them up inside. Unless a whole lot of witnesses Commit suicide. Remember James McDougal And 20 or 30 more About to testify, they found ‘em dead upon the floor. Now they’re pilin’ up the bodies Like they did back then They want back in the White House Here we go again. Glue the china to the table Nail the table to the floor Lock up all the silver ‘fore they haul it out the door White trash in the White House Beats all I’ve ever seen. Hillary for prison two thousand and sixteen."

Your memory have to last more than a couple days. It would have to go all the way back to January of 2016 to remember Trump's most recent birther statement. But he has said plenty in the past 4 years. Now Trump seems to be saying he ended the birther controversy 5 years ago in 2011 by forcing Obama to release his birth certificate. Yet........ August 11 2013 Invterview with Jon Karl: Jon Karl pressed if Trump still believes Obama was not born in the United States. “I have no idea," Trump said. "I don’t know, was there a birth certificate? You tell me. You know, some people say that was not his birth certificate. I’m saying I don’t know. Nobody knows. And you don’t know either.” Sept 10 2013 Trump tweeted: "@obamafraudulent: @realDonaldTrump @d18mt2 The birth certificate that you forced Obama to show is a computer generated forgery. Dec 12 2013 Trump tweeted: How amazing, the State Health Director who verified copies of Obama’s “birth certificate” died in plane crash today. All others lived Feb 27 2015 Feb. 27, 2015: at the conservative political action conference, "as far as the birth certificate, Hillary Clinton wanted his birth certificate. She was a birther and she couldn't get it. John McCain fought viciously to get his birth Certificate. He failed and he couldn't get it. And trump comes along and i'm not a sitting senator, I'm not a good anything else, a good business man. But Trump comes along and says birth certificate, a lot of people question it, and I question it but Hillary Clinton wants it and John McCain wants it and I wanted it And he didn't do it for them, he did it for me and now we have to find out whether Or not it was real." July 2015: interview with Anderson Cooper Cooper: It's rare politicians actually admit mistakes. You've admitted you've made mistakes in the past. You and I have talked about the president Obama and the whole birth certificate thing" Trump: I didn't say it was a mistake I just said... Cooper: "I am asking you now, do you accept that president Obama was born in the United States?" Trump: "No, I don't know I really don't know. Jan. 26, 2016: Interview with Wolf Blitzer Blitzer Your critics are saying you’re doing to Ted Cruz what you tried to do to President Obama, where he was born, his birth certificate…” Trump: Who knows about Obama? Sept 16 2016 Eric Trump Inverview with Stephanopoulos Stephanopoulos: Your father has not said himself "Yes President Obama was born in the united states. I was wrong to question it." Eric Trump: That is coming from him because I've was involved in those conversations. Hes going to put the head of his campaign spokesperson is putting it out that's from the campaign what he has said in the past hey don't believe what you read when someone says "a source close to the campaign" don't believe what those people say because those are guys trying to get media. Stephanopoulos: Last week Kelly Ann Conway's campaign manager put out a statement saying oh Donald Trump believes that the president was born here in the United States yet when Donald Trump has the chance to do that yesterday himself he refuses to do it. Eric Trump: This is coming from him and I was involved in those conversations Stephanopoulos: Are we going to hear him say those words? Eric Trump: I dont know but he's this is I mean this should be the definitive end of it. We thought it was the definitive end when he acknowledged that hey we got the Obama to release his birth certificate then." I see. So leftwing journalists repeatedly asking Trump about the birther thing counts as Trump talking about it. Got it. Not a very honest representation of the facts, is it? |

Sifo,, presenting facts to liberals is a complete waste of ones time. It should be obvious from HOgwash's post that they cannot be reasoned with. I know. Well, it's actually not a complete waste of time. Due to this discussion, I've learned that there are a whole bunch of "reporters" reporting that there is no link between the start of the birther smear, and the Clinton campaign. This is funny given that there have been a number of links posted in this thread, of news stories from 2008, making that exact link. I know these links were carried on Drudge in recent days. I guess these "investigative journalists" don't browse Drudge. I guess I shouldn't really call that "learning" anything though. I already knew that most current journalists are lying sacks. It's fun to point out though. It is sad to see this sort of dishonesty in journalism to provide cover for Clinton. (Message edited by SIFO on September 17, 2016) |

So which is closer to the truth? A) Trump claiming to not know where BO was born. or B) Hillary claiming Trump started the birther campaign. |

The journalists are not putting words into Trump's mouth and Trump is clearly saying he does not know where Obama was born. Not putting words in his mouth, but certainly driving forward Hillary's agenda. It's the equivalent of asking "When did you stop beating your wife?" Then you try to claim that they continue to talk about beating their wife. It's very dishonest, and you are lapping it right up and trying to spread that dishonesty further. |

we don't KNOW where he was born; how many people were present when you were born? The same number probably KNOW where he was born. The king of Thailand was born in a US Hospital, but it's illegal for the king(prince) of Thailand to be born outside of Thailand, so the US officially declared that hospital room as Thai soil, just to help him out. If being born some"where" can be that messed up, barry could have been born on the "soil" of any "country". Is islam a country yet? Deceptistan? |

This all seems to be a distraction from the crimes Hillary's campaign commits daily.... where they rob old folk by repetitively charging their credit cards. |

IIRC I stated twice earlier that I am voting based on the economy. Here on the coast the economy is clearly improving so I want the status quo to remain. I understand the midwest is in an entirely different political situation and there is pressure to vote for the candidate of change no matter the risk because there is simply nothing left to lose. |

On the other coast, in jersey, Gov Christi dropped the sales tax of boats built and sold in the state down to 3%,.... to better compete with surrounding states. (no one was buying boats here) Delaware is 0%. Not shure how well that went. |

https://www.manhattan-institute.org/html/great-cal ifornia-exodus-closer-look-5853.html Primary factor: Economy/lack of jobs. I would imagine silicon valley and Hollywood are doing fine. The bulk of the rest of the folks, especially once you get away from the water, into the once-productive farming areas, are sucking hind teat. Glad you're doing well. Your fellow Californians are fast becoming my fellow Texans. 'Course, that could be all part of their plan to "Turn Texas Blue". Doubt it. |

I acknowledge all the corporate exodus stories out there, it is very real and was well underway before the recession of 2008. This 'tax strategy' is particularly beneficial for corporate business entities who do the majority of their business outside of CA. When they leave, their locally based competitors can quickly absorb the customers left by the business that shut down. I work as a manager's assistant for $15/hr at just uner 40 hrs/wk and I own a house which I manage and rent out at lower than market rate. Minimum wage will be $10.50/hr in 2017. I am able to support my ridiculous Buell habit and my veteran significant other half, Mike. We have recently re-rented out the 3rd bedroom in Mike's house where I live. A couple weeks prior, Rey, a black bike club brother, had been renting the room out at the nominal rate of $100/mo to cut his commute to a new state job from 2 hours to 1. He was a truck driver and now inspects trucks at the Fairfield truck scales. He found a crash pad closer to Farifield it seems. Now the room rents for $450/mo. |

Interesting news day . . . . My wonderfully bright Democrat mayor has announced that last nights bombing appears to have been " intentional". I can't recall the last time I, without knowing it, inadvertently filled a pressure cooker with explosives and schrapnel and attached a cell phone. Idiot. Trump has made massive gains among black American voters who are finally seeing, with new clarity, how Hillary has tried to make useful fools of them. Fun story ....Chelsea Clintons net worth roughly $15,000,000.00. Ya gotta love "dead broke". Nice work for being a couple years out of school, eh? And finally...... thank goodness Michelle Obama .... America's best dressed national embarrassment, has weighed in on the Bircher controversy. Grasping at straws they are. I see why malia gets high. |

If H0gwash is voting for Hillary, based on economic reasons, it simply demonstrates his level of understanding of the economy. Unfortunately he is very tied to the lies of the left. CA is in much the same shape as my old home state of IL, that I just left. I was in a pretty good area of IL as far as economic opportunity too. I moved to a much more rural are of MI, yet I've been astounded at the growth that is actually happening in this area. It was an expensive move though. The lack of growth in IL for the past decade really put me at a disadvantage on property values, which are really rebounding in my new area, because of the growing economy. I'm kicking myself for not making the move earlier. There is no denying the fact (and it is verifiable fact) that people are fleeing states like CA and IL. |

The cost of living is very high in CA. I think SF (San Francisco) is the highest commercial real estate market in the nation now? When I travel out of state I must order cheap at restaurants because in CA $5 is a small restaurant meal. Outside of CA that could be a mountain of food. When you lose your job in CA you must quickly find a new job or think of moving out of state. We have friends in OR AZ and we have club members in Reno NV which is only an hour or so from Sacto. All those places are perfectly nice places to be and the cost of living is significantly lower, esp in TX where the Texas swing in Austin never stops and that's hardly a bad thing either. |

I acknowledge the net migration out of CA. It is kind of a new thing. During the boom cycles the saying is you can't keep people OUT of CA EVEN with the higher taxes. Many apologies for the ex-Californians you may have met who presumed you would be a hick because you were not born in CA. I also acknowledge the rural communities in northeast and southeast CA. They are old farming communities doubly hit with recession and nearly complete lack of ground water, their wells have dried up after 7 years of drought. It would seem they would have to move west to Redding or LA to make ends meet. |
