My main takeaways: Tim is still insane, and Charlie a bit more insane, Brad, did you really expect anything different? Thanks for the breakfast and the dinner! The dogs were top notch! |

Really glad everyone had a great time and wish I could have been there too! Sounds like Froggy's battery was the only failure and an easy fix! Not too bad I'd say! As you know I was in Colorado hanging with an old friend at his new retirement home in Loveland. We had a great time catching up over a few beers! I bought an air mattress, blanket and pillow which I left there since he's giving me a key so I can crash there whenever I'm passing through! I can see that being a great base for some excellent day rides! Looks like we all got back safely and I'm looking forward to the next get together! Cheers! |

While not a failure (breakdown) during the event,I had been having trouble with my ignition switch that came to a head the week of the event.I ordered a Motogadget M-lock RFID ignition switch and installed it Friday.Saturday morning on the way up to Two Wheels I noticed I had no speedometer/odometer,turn signals and horn.Later on the ride I was told I didn't have a tail or brake light. We checked all my fuses at a gas stop and all were good.Today Joe and I went through everything, checking for power in,power out, continuity and ground. We couldn't find anything wrong, the bike will start,go down the road and has a headlight. |

Greg - give me a shout next time you're out here. I am buying the mills from Dan and opening my own small hot-rod machine shop a mile from my house. Being sole proprietor will allow me to shut the doors and go for a ride... Shameless plug - any of y'all need tuber or XB headwork, PM me. Zack |

That's awesome Zack, I wish you great success. If I had been by myself I would have stopped by. Once my friend flew back to Jersey I headed to Holyoke where my 94 year old WW2 vet buddy is not doing well. He's got a mass in his large intestines and he's too old to survive an operation. Truly a sad situation but he's a tough old bird and is taking it in stride. I have a key to my friends new home in Loveland so there's a good chance I'll be out there again since it'll be cheap to stay and the day trips from there would be awesome! I will definitely stop by and check out your new shop! Congrats! |

My main takeaways: Tim is still insane, and Charlie a bit more insane and here i thought we had a nice weekend of leisurely riding...?! Charlie and I even had a conversation about it and both agreed we noticed we were running at least a solid 30+ mph slower on average then our normal rides together, if not more... lol. I can only expect him to push that land yacht so hard...! |
