That PJ Media article uses a lot of complicated logic and complicated words, but has made some pretty huge leaps in stating opinions about opinions as facts, and deriving other opinions from that. Khizr Khan's precept was invalid on it's face. Trump did not call for a ban on Muslim immagration, he simply called for appropriate security controls for immigration. Khan did have an important point that Muslims are fighting against and condemning Islamic Jihadists. That is a valid and important point to hear for those that would label all Muslims as Islamic Jihadists. (Disclaimer, I didn't hear his speech, so I am going off of second hand information) | ||

I didn't do a thesis level deep dive, but I did spend 15 minutes hunting it. The quote I found was relating to stopping immigration from countries where we don't have a model and data to do any kind of background checking. I'd welcome any corrections. That's only a "ban" if you think everything is a dog whistle. I'd like to put everyone in the same boat so everyone has to live with same constraints. You have to do X in order to become a citizen, vote, receive government benefits including health care, buy a gun, drive a car on the street, or hold a government job or office. Right after her coronation, and before the latest round of piss poor economic figures being released, I heard Hillary stumping about all the work that still needed to be done to "recover" from the Bush years. Never mind the FACT that we had better economic growth through the Bush years, than we did all through this latest reign of bat-shit-crazy liberalism. She can't possibly be stupid enough to believe what she is spreading. It just simply isn't possible. Pretty much any remaining possibilities run along various degrees of evil. Meanwhile I was reading how the press in Venezuela are giving cover for the failed policies that have people hunting pigeons, cats, and dogs for food. This is not good news for a country that is oil rich and not long ago had a thriving cattle industry. This could be the future of the US if we continue down the progressive path of destruction.
