The black ghetto culture is as real as radical Islam. Both are anti-social, violent and incompatible with Democracy. Radical Islam is still, for the most part, an "over there" problem. The issue with the inner-city black community is a here and now problem that, as evidenced by the nightly news, is not getting any better despite years of effort. What solution hasn't been tried? None that I can think of. The government has been throwing money at that community for decades. Free this and free that and the problem is growing WORSE. The only solution I can see to the problem, law and order, will never happen as long as the country keeps sliding to the left and the only thing the left wants to do is throw more money at them and continue to brow-beat whites for the sins of their ancestors. The problem with that solution is it's no solution at all. At best it kicks the can down the road and increasingly this is ineffective. Notice how Bernie Sanders lost control of his followers. Notice how the BLM called for whites to protest at the back of the pack. Despite all the money and all the good will the feral blacks are becoming increasingly radicalized and immune to pacification. Islam is growing in the black community. They are involved in the BLM movement. Lord help us if radical Islam and radical blacks ever converge.

Actually things were measurably better as a society before LBJ. Low rate of unwed moms, high rate of church attendance, any number of good indicators.

But you can't go backwards by magic. They have sown the wind, we will face the whirlwind. Thug Black Culture is a deliberate crime by their White Masters.

“Fairness” Tax Increase -- $400 Billion: According to her published plan, Clinton has called for a tax increase of “between $400 and $500 billion” by “restoring basic fairness to our tax code.” These proposals include a “fair share surcharge,” the taxing of carried interest capital gains as ordinary income, and a hike in the Death Tax.

I will naturally be a good citizen and pay my "fair share surcharge" as will be ordered by Hillary. The amount might be a bit less than the IRS thinks it is, since I plan to do my "fair share" of labor too. Which will be much less than I do now. Whatever the cutoff line is, I make less than that.

As Aesquire pointed out, it's happening. It's been going on for generations. Yes, see Nation of Islam. Prison has proven to the perfect place to sow the seeds of hate to those who are already shunned by society. To be fair, it's also a perfect place to sow the seeds of any religion, when you have a prison population of those who have failed to fit into society. Most are searching for some sort of acceptance. Religions offer that. So do gangs. Good and bad choices abound. I'm willing to bet that some of the poorer choices will tend to be more aggressive with the recruiting. Tough place to be when you are already on the ropes.

Nation of Islam, prisons, yes, I know of these inroads by Islam into the black community but that Islam is an Americanized version of Islam, fairly benign, focused on black supremacy theology. The Islam now being imported into our country by our glorious leader is a far more insidious virulent form. Look at it this way you have blacks that you know and work with and then you have blacks down in the ghetto. Believe me when I say the two have very little in common with one another. One being as dangerous as your average person and the other that would kill you over 50 cents.

Fortunately, the inner city uneducated black community is still overwhelmingly Christian leaning.

Overwhelmingly? I'm not sure. Just based on what I saw driving kids on the school bus from a suburban slum (largely exported from Chicago's south side projects) I would guess the percentage might be around 25% some form of Muslim. Hard to say for sure though. Most don't really wear it on their sleeve, so to speak.

You know the Democrats have a problem when . . . . .

This is what an ex-president who was impeached . . .got blown by an intern in the Oval Office and has been debarred by his home Legal Bar Association and barred from practicing before the United States Supreme Court for ethical violations . . . oh year, and he's settled like 8 sexual harassment suits silently out of court.

And this is what your folks making the choice for President of the United States of America look like.

Thinking about it . . . this free tuition shit may be a good start. We got to go on an "stupid diet" and shed some idiots.

Behind the scenes:

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2016/07/br idging_troubled_waters_the_estrogen_convention.htm l

Favorite part:

"Here’s the opening day schedule: we’ve got the mother of a drug-addict daughter who’ll talk about how hard it is to raise her daughter’s illegitimate son while her husband (the grandfather) is on disability. Great, isn’t it? What could beat that?

Next, we’ll get an illegal alien to talk about the hardship and prejudice suffered by undocumented aliens. Make sure no one mentions what the cost of these programs means to blacks or the murders and crimes by illegals. Not one word of that."

Democracy is not an easy system. Every time an issue or candidate is up for vote, some side loses.

The challenge of the losing side is to do better next time and to honor the direction democracy has chosen for the future.

Presumably Trump is a better candidate than Romney (who had a solid record of public service) so there should be no President Hillary Clinton.

But if Trump is not a better candidate, then the challenge for the RNC is to get that better candidate search going now. Get some better ideas and leaders soon. Don't wait.

After 8 years of a congress that has done very little we saw a slew of Republican Presidential candidates that were sweep away by an outsider with no record of public service.

Whoever it is that becomes President, there is a problem in the Republican party evident right now. It needs fixing by loyal Americans that respect the way democracy works.

The Democrats have a different but similar problem. They have work to do also.

Having 2 candidates with such high negatives serves the people poorly. Plenty of blame to go around but blame won't do anything to make our country secure and our future promising as we move toward the middle of the 21st century. The people deserve great candidates.

Much of Trump's negatives are portrayed by the popular media. They really focus on minor nuances and out of context quotes. It's pretty silly, but for some that's where they make their opinions.

What had surprised me is some popular media sources having the odd anti Hillary piece, but such pieces are ran once then forgotten. The anti Trump sentiment is unrelenting.

After watching the remainder of the Democratic convention today, I don't think they could have done much worse. Not even crowd replacement therapy fixed that mess.

In social media people seem to love and support Trump...at least in my circles.

I've seen the over the top attacks (without any substance) on Trump already sway one decided voter to vote for Trump.

Two, if you count myself. I think they are both awful, but only Trump will be accountable to the rule of law and an effective critical press. So given those two awful choices, you have to choose the only one that might be kept on some kind of leash.

You're not alone in making that observation...

Khizr Khan was tricked into smearing Donald Trump

When I was young, I was pretty apathetic about politics. It was hearing the fear mongering about Reagan being a "war monger" (that was the exact phrase used) that got me paying more attention to what was going on. It just didn't seem a good thing to me to have a war monger in the White House. It was the beginning of me paying a bit more attention to what was going on, and thinking about politics for myself. A true epiphany moment. Up to that time, had I bothered to vote, it would likely have been for a Democrat.

Ditto. I heard all the awful things about Reagan as a high school senior, and when I looked into them, they didn't quite make sense. The deeper I looked the more wrong things seemed to be.

It took about a decade, but that caused me to swing a bit far to the right.

Now, in my ripe old age, I'm not really aligned with either the far right or the far left, and I'm not dumb enough to just be a moderate. I'm a member of the smaller government, fiscal conservative, social libertarian, and "fewer simpler laws very clearly written and least creatively interpreted but rigidly enforced" crowd.

... whatever the hell that group is called...

It borders on insanity . . . the New York Post (roughly the equivalent of the National Enquirer) can't get enough space on the front page to share with me all sorts of "non-news".

Melania Trump was a model. Telling me that a model posed with no shirt or with another woman tells me nothing about Trump . . . models are paid, sometimes lots of money, to do precisely what they are told to build an advertising story. You don't have to go beyond NYC's current crop of billboards to see that.

Then . . . in the feature story they gleefully share that there will be "lots of naked women" . . in addition to a simulated assault . . at the Opening Ceremonies to the Olympic Games.

Somehow . . . I'm not sure this is what the ancient Greeks had in mind.

quote:

Yes, there will be “lots of nearly naked women doing the samba,” according to the Daily Mail’s source, but “[this] is Brazil, after all, where the female body is celebrated like no other place on Earth.”

All this healing and social mending Obama has done over the past 8 years . . . well, ain't panning out so great.

The ancient Greeks had their Olympic games in the nude. Where was I going with this???

Simulated assault? I guess anything to try to make people watch. Seems to be in very poor taste IMO. Hopefully she will pull out a pistol and simulate ventilating their skulls.

When it comes to the "news" media, if I wanted tabloids I'd buy one at the magazine stand.

I wonder what kinda dirt Hillary has on the Russians since they hate her despite seemingly favorable trade deals.
