Looks like fun and even though it's a S&S motor they really should have used the Sporty engine. Just a lot more solid than a twin cam design. |

Rear sets with a 27.8" seat height?Sounds a little tight to me.Raise the seat to 31" or so,move the exhaust can back so they will fit. |

EACH ARCH CAN BE CUSTOM TAILORED TO ENHANCE RIDE COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE. ERGONOMIC OPTIONS INCLUDE FORWARD OR MID CONTROLS, NARROW OR WIDE MOUNTED FOOT PEGS AND 2” OR 3” HANDLEBAR PULL-BACK RISERS |

I just don't care for that bike at all. To each his own, I guess. |

You can watch Keanu ride his up the hill at Goodwood festival of speed. Live stream & recaps. I've been watching people drive up a hill for four hours with a buddy & some hard cider. A non gearhead would never understand. Looks like the Valhalla of motor sports. From the Benz Blitzen to the Buggati Giron. Bikes? F/^& yeah. I like the Arch for what it is....or could be if I ordered one. A torque beast "standard" seating road bike. Naked & blatantly mechanical. Don't see myself buying one. I'd put it on the long list marked "if win lotto" |

I like it. If it was as smooth as an xb and didn't cost the world I'd buy one. |

While I'm not a fan of the bike, I would have no qualms about that engine whatsoever. If it's like anything else that S&S does, it's far superior materials wise than an H-D twin cam. You can assume it has the larger crank pin, gear drive EZ start cams, forged pistons, etc. |

Where are the turn signals? |

Depending on your state, turnsignals are not required |

The bikes are (or were) built, close by, either in Lawndale or Hawthorne CA. I've seen the two that Jay Leno road, up at the Rock Store in Mailbu. Compared to the Confederate bikes, I've seen; these look more finished/refined, such as it is. |

I've deleted the turn signals off my last 4 bikes, never had an issue even when I've been pulled over. I use hand signals. |

But they are required to be there when manufactured/sold. So...where are the turn signals? Where do they mount? Specifically the rear ones. There doesn't appear to be a place for them. |

They can't be part of the brake light assembly...they wouldn't be far enough apart. |

I think the signals are on the sides of the license plate frame. Style-wise, I'm neutral. I've never been comfortable with my feet forward like that, but according to a review I read a few years ago when they announced production, the pegs are high enough to get a pretty aggressive lean angle. Sancktoast may have the inside scoop on engines, but I'll bet the choice to use the big twin was driven more by the marketing folk. As soon as you say "Sportster" to the HD elitists, (particularly the image conscious),they immediately make the mental connection "girls bike". I wouldn't mind taking one out for a ride, but I'm sure its price is too dear for me to seriously consider. |

I forgot to say I'll bet the front signals are on the bar ends.. Forum janitor: Please delete my above post with snacktoast misspelled. I'm considered by many friends as dumb enough without leaving a trail of evidence laying around. |

If they're in the license plate, they're still too close together (as they'd be if they were in the brake light housing) not to mention too close to the ground. |

It looks nice. But...what is different about this bike than any other wobbly chassis air cooled v-twin custom out there? I looks like another "me too" effort. I wouldn't buy one. YMMV. |

Turn signals, according to the code posted by Court above, are NOT required when a motor driven cycle is built. However. Many state safety inspections require "if it was there when it was built, it has to be there and functioning in order to pass inspection". Difference. |

What's the difference between a motor driven cycle and a motorcycle? Because they're required for motorcycles, and that sure looks like a motorcycle. 'Course, I don't know what a motor driven cycle looks like... |

Google says a motor drive cycle is a moped. That's not a moped, therefore, turn signals are required. |

I think perhaps you should read it again Joe. It clearly states that amber turn signal lamps are required for motorcycles. |
