So? Who rode to work today? I took the Zero to the office (like I've been doing every day) and let everyone else who rode in take it for a spin if they wanted. Three took me up on the offer and they were all quite impressed. They couldn't believe how quickly it accelerated (and I don't even have the high performance SR model either).

Wonder if I might start seeing a few more, now?

I had to ride to work. Lost the key to the jeep.

Rode to work today on my SX. I'm going to try commuting more on it. Original tires are shot, just wearing them out at this point so I can get them taken off, then have the wheels powdercoated, and install a bigger sprocket.

I rode. Didn't know it was ride to work day thou.

Had to ride the XB. The S1 needs new front break pads. I ordered the wrong ones last week. They'll be in tomorrow.

I rode my 21 year old...S2 Thunderbolt, you preverts!

Boy, after 'normal' being shifted to later Buells and an EBR even, the footpeg position of an S2 sure feels more like mid controls.

And, honestly, the race exhaust sounded quieter than the Drummer on the XT-BOLT (maybe it needs a repack?)...

Rode my poor old yet reliable as a stone '01 S3. Just rebuilt the forks and replaced steering head bearings getting ready to ride to Laguna Seca.

It's my daily ride to work anyways but we had about 3x the usual number of bikes parked at work today.

I rode all over today. Work just happened to be one of the places. Had no idea it was a ceremonial day. We should get the day off for "ride to work day"

25 years, and there are still riders who haven't heard of it? That's NOT good...

I rode but I forgot it was national ride to work day. But at least I know about it. No, I rode in remembrance of a co-worker who died while riding after an unavoidable mishap on Saturday. RIP John.

There is literally no point in commuting on a bike here in Georgia.

If I'm going to sit behind cars and be prohibited from at least filtering to the front of the line at a red light, I'll do so in the comfort of my leather seat, listening to the news and sipping a beverage.

In California, I rode to work almost all the time. First ticket I got for lane-splitting here in Georgia had me park the bike unless I'm riding for recreation.

The benefits of living here far outweigh the detriments.

I can only ride to work on Mondays and Fridays. I have to drop the monkeys off at the zoo on all of the other days.

I had the day off... rode down to my buddy's houseboat, took off on his 'poon, floated a bit.

Gonna rain here for the next few days, JUST washed/waxed the Beemer for the first time yesterday after Vern's good work... dang.

I typically ride Mondays Thursdays and Fridays. On this Ride Your Bike Monday I had to ditch the M2 at a McDonald's because I could not get the starter to stop starting until I unscrewed positive battery lead. I returned at end of day in a company vehicle with a replacement relay and put on a little show for the drive thru dinner crowd, but that wasn't the problem. I hit the solenoid and that did the trick so at least my little show had a happy ending.

Never heard of it either...

Couldn't ride in anyway since both bikes are down for a bit...

No lane splitting here in New York either. Doesn't matter, though, because I CAN ride in the HOV lane, which I do every morning sailing past the cars crawling along in the regular traffic lanes, all while listening to tunes via the bluetooth headset built into my helmet.

Life is good.

I am in a position where I rarely get on the highway, so hov lanes don't apply to me in any meaningful way.

Sounds like your motorcycle needs an upgrade if it doesn't have those. : )

Hell I used to have an electric cooler on my Ulysses.

3rd Monday in June. I make a half ass Ride To Work poster a week or two before the date and we normally take a long lunch and short ride to celebrate this honored day. Normally get about 10 riders, poor turnout this year, I will blame it on 110 degree weather in the Mojave desert. A KTM 690, Goldwing F6B and my XB12X were the lone participants.

The weather has been so hot that this has been "Ride to work week" so far. I need a car/truck to do "favors" for customers so often, but telling them "Sorry I rode my motorcycle today and can"t bring the part on bye" is an awesome excuse.

That's my favorite excuse when the office tries to call me. "I was on the bike, I couldn't answer the phone."
