Many articles refute that she said that. I can't find any actual quotes, in context, of those words having ever been spoken or written by her. There's enough wrong the Hillary...we don't need to make stuff up.
I'd love to be proven wrong. She birthed an evil beast. If only she had aborted planned parenthood. (See, that's how you use an abortion joke...unlike the lame Ted Cruz aborted campaign 'joke' a few weeks ago.)
It’s true that Hillary Clinton said she “admires” Margaret Sanger.
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America gave the Margaret Sanger Award to Hillary Clinton for her “contributions to the advancement of women’s heath care.” During her acceptance speech, Clinton said:
“It was a great privilege when I was told that I would receive this award. I admire Margaret Sanger enormously. Her courage, her tenacity, her vision … When I think about what she did all those years ago in Brooklyn, taking on archetypes, taking on attitudes and accusations flowing from all directions, I’m really in awe of her. There are a lot of lessons we can learn from her life, from the causes she launched and fought for and sacrificed for so greatly.”
The video above is her being questioned about these comments.
Excuse or rational? As a hard core Feminist Hillary can admire the works of Sanger in helping women control their destiny while deploring the racist. Hillary would never say Sanger is a monster who is directly responsible for millions of dead babies, voluntarily offered up, unwittingly, in the name of freedom from responsibility, but actually as a eugenics program to control the populations of the "weeds".
Now Hillary can get away with that, since no one is perfect, and by harping on Jefferson & his slaves, gives herself cover for mass murder.
Now if she'd complimented Hitler, ( a big fan of Sanger too ) she'd have a much harder time getting away with that. Mostly because they just don't teach about Sanger and she's unknown to the vast majority. A lot of people still know about Hitler.
Although in a few generations the Leader of the National Socialist Workers Party will have his crimes against humanity displaced, with another generation of insisting that Hitler was a Right Wing nutjob, like Reagan, will finally erase any perceived connection with the actual policies of the Socialists.
Few today know about Stalin's millions of murdered or Mao's hundreds of millions.
Satan's greatest triumph is getting people to not believe in him.
Fair is fair. I think it is petty (crappy) "gotcha journalism" to say that because you admire individual X, you have to admire and advocate everything individual X did. I know the left does it all the time. That doesn't make it OK.
There is a real point there, in that her celebration of Sanger never also mentioned the awful things Sanger also supported.
But it's silly to say that a person who supports women's reproductive rights doesn't support a pioneer in support for women's reproductive rights.
I don't disagree with a woman's universal right to employ contraception whenever and wherever she wants too. I disagree that abortion is an appropriate response to an unwanted pregnancy, and I disagree that a right to something is a right to make somebody else pay for something.
There are real problems with Hillary and her constant lies and contempt for individual constitutionally recognized liberties and the rule of law, and they should terrify anyone at the thought of her becoming commander in chief. We don't need to play political word games and waste time with childish gotcha politics.
(It is a valid meme though to expose the hippocracy of the left that constantly uses these kinds of logical fallacies to tear apart the lives of thoughtful people though... so carry on with that...)
Such attitudes did not keep her from collaborating with African American leaders and professionals who saw a need for birth control in their communities. In 1929, James H. Hubert, a black social worker and leader of New York's Urban League, asked Sanger to open a clinic in Harlem.[84] Sanger secured funding from the Julius Rosenwald Fund and opened the clinic, staffed with black doctors, in 1930. The clinic was directed by a 15-member advisory board consisting of black doctors, nurses, clergy, journalists, and social workers. The clinic was publicized in the African-American press and in black churches, and it received the approval of W. E. B. Du Bois, civil rights legend and author of The Souls Of Black Folk, co-founder of the NAACP and editor of its magazine, Crisis, whom Martin Luther King Jr. would eulogize as "unsurpassed as an intellect."85][86][87][88] Sanger did not tolerate bigotry among her staff, nor would she tolerate any refusal to work within interracial projects.[89] Sanger's work with minorities earned praise from Martin Luther King, Jr., in his 1966 acceptance speech for the Margaret Sanger award.[90]
From 1939 to 1942 Sanger was an honorary delegate of the Birth Control Federation of America, which included a supervisory role—alongside Mary Lasker and Clarence Gamble—in the Negro Project, an effort to deliver birth control to poor black people.[91] Sanger wanted the Negro Project to include black ministers in leadership roles, but other supervisors did not. To emphasize the benefits of involving black community leaders, she wrote to Gamble, "We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea, if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." While New York University's Margaret Sanger Papers Project, argues that in writing that letter, "Sanger recognized that elements within the black community might mistakenly associate the Negro Project with racist sterilization campaigns in the Jim Crow South;"92] Angela Davis uses the quote to support claims that Sanger intended to exterminate the black population.[93]
Doesn't sound like she actually said what was in that meme.
Sanger spent a lot of time in Europe advocating for voluntary genocide. Her appearance of equality was always the Progressive mask on a very traditional hatred. Using the Black Churches to promote her organization was just as hypocritical as the Russian racists promoting churches like the one Obama was a member of in Chicago.
The American eugenics movement was very racist, and very dishonest.
I have heard the myth that the racist Democrat South suddenly became Republican when Nixon was elected. And Reagan, and Goldwater... same lies, 3 different generations. It was the abolitionists who supported Goldwater, Nixon, Reagan....
When your enemy fervently believes that Truth is a construct and lies are the path to power, As a basic tenant on their religion, trusting anything they say is stupid.
Hillary's thesis was on Alinsky, the writer who in a sense, translated the Lie to Power tactics to America.

I hope we get the best President that money can buy . . .
By the way . . . . I can hear you saying . . ."how the heck could a person live on a mere $10,000,000 a year . . . particularly after being broke ("You have no reason to remember, but we came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt," Hillary Clinton) . .
Not to worry . . . that paltry $21,667,000 is less than Bill made. The moment she was announced as Secretary of State folks started throwing money at him. Like the rest of us . . the Clintons have to get by by having two incomes.
