Does anyone know if these are licensed or not. Since Buell does not exist as a company anymore can anyone just make these and sell them? I want one, but I hate for EBR not to get their cut, but then they aren't EBR shirts I guess. http://teefuny.com/buell |

Nope, not an EBR shirt. And Harley has allowed this kind of thing since they shut Buell down. They expressly said they would not spend money protecting Buell intellectual property. Bottom line, if you want one, by one. |

Clicked on the various color options for the shirt... "PANK" was interesting, as were some of the other colors besides black... FWIW. |

Court Posted on Monday, May 30, 2016 - Trademarks were abandoned 7 years ago ...... Court, what about the suppliers of Buell specific parts, such as the engine mounts. Are they bound to produce/supply such parts, only to H/D? |

No clue what arrangements they have made. The quantities that Buells were made it won't likely make any moratorium an issue. I posted the pages from the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) showing nearly all the Buell IP rights being abandoned. But . . . be mindful . . that's a completely different arena that any parts supply issues. I've not looked into any of that. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=32777&post=1582541#POST1582541 |
