well, for the first time in over 30 years, I'm motorcycle-less, and the first time in 13 years I'm Buell-less. no truck, no car, no bike, its past time to figure out what to do next...
Bart, It was good meeting you and Chris. I feel very comfortable selling the Buell to you, you're good people, I can tell. Happy Trails! |

Wow- happy trails to your old bike, my friend. Somehow a serious ATV/go-kart should be in your future. How about an old-skool Honda Odyssey, with the modern electronics rigged into your helmet, that would kill the motor if you suddenly went into a seizure? Aint the same as a 2 wheeler, but my imagination is working on it. Mebbe Vern and Frank can advise. One can fabricate, one can program. Many others here also can advise. |

Or go the other way, and get biological transportation: how 'bout a horse? |

Rick that is great. Glad to know there are still people with that special kind of stupid for the rest of us to laugh at. |

Get a muzzle loading shot gun and a lot of targets. Shoot-em up 'till you are tired of loading! Great economical fun! |

It was a pleasure meeting the two of you. I'm glad I was able to sit and chat for awhile. The drive back was interesting, we missed most of the storms Sounds like you are already focused on the next step in your life, riding may still be a part of it, just sit back, enjoy your little chunk of paradise, and relax. The rest will come with time. |

The wife asks me when I'm going to give up riding a motorcycle. When I can't of course. On the extreme sports guys...the kid laughs at the big wrecks, but having been in a few myself I respect the effort and wince a little at the failures. With a good attitude, good friends and family, nothing can bring a good guy down. I respect your strength and candor in all of this. |
