If it were up to me I would choose the Troy,NY location. The ride down route 2 is awesome. Stamford is ok too. |

4/17 sounds good so far, I'd do the Stamford Dino. Just took the forks off the bike today, left one started leaking pretty bad. Hopefully the rebuild goes easy and fast so I can make it. |

Okay, Stamford Dino it is. There is lots of parking there (much like the one in Troy). Noontime work? Or a little later (like 1:00)? |

Let's do 1, the traffic is terrible coming down from Massachusetts. Last year it took a full 3 hrs to get there. |

Anyone from the Springfield/Hartford area going? Last year I had Scott ride down with his 1125. I believe his bike is down. Would be nice to meet up with someone for a part of the way. |

Yeah! last time, I took route 7 north to Great Barrington and took little squiggly lines home from there. It may be a little early in the season for that magnitude of detour though. It gets awfully chilly in the hills of western Massachusetts. |

Natexlh1000 lets coordinate something if your heading down. When did you last attend? My number is 4136368753. I live in Westfield. (Message edited by V1203 on March 21, 2016) |

Typically, I just blast down on the highway to get there but go home on weird routes. In other words, we should figure out something when we get there. On my end, it all depends upon my wife/twins allowing me to escape for a day. |

When all this gets sorted . . . can someone post the TIME DATE LOCATION ? I'm in the area daily . . . all over the Berkshires . . CT, MA, NY and so forth and that may be a great chance to snag some BBQ. Is there room to land a Hughes MD500? :-) |

Rt. 106 N to Merritt Parkway to US Rt. 7 N looks like an interesting route back to western Mass. It will take a while, but it's beautiful north of Danbury. I took 7 N from Danbury to Rt 2 (Mohawk Trail) after we all met at 5 guys for burgers a few years ago. It was worth the time. |

This looks like a good place to park rotorcraft: https://www.google.com/maps/place/845+Canal+St,+St amford,+CT+06902/@41.0413378,-73.5385595,98m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1! 1s0x89c29f61b172d87f:0x1090314c658a399d!6m1!1e1 They might yell at you afterwards though. |

If we park the bikes in a circle you could land in the middle. V1203, I usually do the opposite, scenic ride down and highway (or more likely parkway) back. If you end up coming down solo, we could meet up anywhere below Hartford and try some side roads on the way. Just have to allow about two hours from that point as that's what it took me last time. |

I tend to head straight up to the Dino, and then meander around the "long way" back home. |

I also like to do that. Shoot down, eat way too much, then kinda poke along home the scenic and interesting route at only 10 over the posted speed limit. This forum needs an emoticon like the one I used that doesn't insult the previous poster. I do not consider Jaime to be the least bit stupid, but this is the only way to say, "I agree with him" |

No insult taken. And after eating at the Dino, you HAVE to poke along and occasionally stop since you're probably really close to nodding off. One of the reasons I usually wander over to Bridgeport rather than back towards NYC. I take the ferry and take a nap while it's en route. |

Too far for me to make it a day trip I'm afraid, and I can't spare the extra day. Going to try and make the ADK run in may and get to Troy Dino. |

Looks like I'm in at this point. I just need to figure out a route. Coming from the Binghamton NY area I have a couple different ways I can make it. |

Nate, worst comes to worst, put 'em in the car and bring them with you. Nothing says you have to RIDE to this thing. It's all about the people. |
