Toured the assembly line and watched the guy ride the rollers. No photo allowed on assembly line. Very nice foot printing of tools at the work stations. Every tool had a place cut out for it in a piece of foam. Rather genius in it's simplicity. Beats the way my stations are set up at work. Total number of employees has been scaled down to match the lower production numbers planned for the first year (2016). I saw a lot of familiar faces and would surely miss a few if I tried to list them. Mrs. Buell was as charming as ever and even took a spell at serving food. I like her. Erik is a blessed man.
I got Kim, the person that works magic behind the scenes to keep the place running, to sign my bike. First bike she has signed. Erik looked on commenting that I had the most valuable signature on my bike. I got a picture of the two of them.
At 3:00 the party was moved to downtown East Troy. I was cold by then and decided to head home before it got colder. Erik was looking healthy and in good spirits. His wife was patiently waiting in the car while he stopped to sign bikes out front of the plant when he was supposed to be on the way down town. I would expect nothing less of him. I'm sure we will see him out front again the morning of June 2nd. It was a very nice event.
I do not officially speak for BadWeb. As I have understood it in the past, BadWeb does not want to advertise to the general public. I think it is to minimize the troll population. Name tags are nice during Home Coming. There were a lot of enthusiasts there yesterday. We do not want to forget that not all Buellers are badwebbers.
They REALLY should have had that on the ground for real viewing.

I'm for this, but I have no recollection of seeing any. The first time or two to the factory is fun for it being new, but after that it's rather empty not knowing anyone.
Can someone please help me understand something? Since everything aft about the riders' cojones is identical between the SX and the RX, why is the luggage specified only for the SX? I realize that luggage isn't appropriate for the track (for the RX's that get raced) but I use my motorcycles - my RX included - as transportation.
First, Last Wednesday Frank Sinatra Jr. Died at the age of 72.
The one thing that you don't have to worry about is losing the rear pillion's seat to the luggage. The weight capacity of the SX is not high enough for luggage and a passenger at the same time.
