We are so screwed. I've never felt more disenchanted and just totally disgusted with our political system. |

I'm not posting this meaning to compare Trump to the evils that Hitler did. I have often wondered though, what was it like to see Hitler elected to power. He wasn't yet known as the evil genocidal maniac that we think of him today. He was just a vacuous politician promising what he couldn't deliver to a population that was desperate for someone offering hope. Even false hope. It's the same thing that brought us BO. It's the same thing that is making the Hildabeast and the self described socialist popular. I'm not sure that even Hitler set out to be a genocidal maniac, but what happens when a leader is held accountable for the promises that were made? BO has NEVER been held accountable. Perhaps that may be a good thing. Even so, we are seeing higher levels of hatred from his staunchest followers, and it's those same people who are experiencing a spike in violence in their neighborhoods. If they were focusing their anger at BO instead of their own neighbors, what would BO feel pressured to do to achieve his impossible promises? Any leader? |

Clearly, Harvard professor Danielle Allen is an idiot. First for being "perplexed" at how Hitler came to power. That whole process is one of the best documented historical precedents in, well, in history. Secondly for seeing the parallels relative for Trump, but being blind to them relative to Obama, particularly given his undermining of the courts, the rule of law, and the fact that both Obama and Hitler were basically social democrats aligned with the labor movement. We deserve better leaders... perhaps because we need better teachers. |

Danielle Allen may or may not be an idiot. Probably is. It's likely that my take on the comparison to Hitler was not what was intended. As a nation though, we are in a situation where the front runners are simply making promises that they have no hope of ever delivering on. It's a bit more than politics as usual. Perhaps I should have simply made my point, leaving Allen's comment out of it. It does take an idiot to not see how those parallels also apply to BO, Hilldabeast, and the Bernmiester. |

If Trump gets elected president, I am not sure which party will be hurt the most... I feel we are being punked. I almost expect him to get the nomination and when he is accepting it, he reveals that he has actually been working on a new reality show: Punked to the White House. Maybe he will wait until after he gets elected, and then step down afterwards to let his carefully picked VP nomination take over. Yes I've been having nightmares... I am honestly trying to like Cruz, but every time I see/hear him speak I get turned off. The little giggles he had after every sentence during last nights speech, was just creepy. Besides, good Christians, don't go around falsely accusing people of stupid shit. It'd be different if he didn't push his faith so much, but to claim he is man of god and then spout untruths and nastiness is hypocritical. I wouldn't stand too close, because god cuts a wide path with lightening... (that goes for all of the candidates, not just Cruz) Watching Rubio, reminds me of some old friends when they were doing cocaine, the way he keeps wiping his teeth with his lips... I also hate how he is blaming the other candidates for Trump's wins. Too much like this younger generation, blaming everyone else and not taking responsibility. At least Kasich won a state yesterday. Too bad it won't be nearly enough to keep him in the race until the end. I honestly think the people that could do the most good in office, won't run because of the way they get vilified in the media and public court. Our political system needs a drastic overhaul to encourage better candidates to run for office. The apathy I hear from a lot of people about politics fuels Trump's success. |

You are right. Harry Reid never passed a budget. Then mcwhatshisface didn't either. Obama never signed one. He did vote for the Last Budget then accused Booosh of spending too much. 7 years of unlimited bribes and spending. The next President has to fire over a million federal workers Barry hired. Just to get back to the Last Budget's over spending. |

The Social Justice department has not decided if they are going to ignore her felonies or lie about them. Every day they delay makes the inevitable excuse "we don't want to politicize the election". Because, gee, that would be ungood. |

Air bozo, When did Ted Cruz lie about anyone? I don't like his nervous quirks either. But Injudge the man not on camera presence, but his record and his policies. He's solid. He did exactly what he promised Texans he'd do, even against much resistance and castigation by his own party leadership and their cartel cronies in Washington. Focus on substance. |

Cruze is a lawyer. To elect another lawyer is insane. Trump is a moron. Hillary is Hillary. All of them have their own agenda and no thought of our well being as a country. Nothing has changed for the last 4 elections. It's reduced to casting a vote "against a candidate" rather than for one again because THERE ARE NO ADEQUATE CHOICES. How can this be corrected? are we to just keep doing the wrong thing? The whole process needs restructured. First, it should not be a prerequisite that you cannot run for president unless you are a millionaire. This is not right and needs to change. It was never supposed to be this way. We need to examine how we got to this point and why. That's where the devil is hiding. We need to do our civic duty and review qualifications and background rather than voting for a candidate because he has nice hair or because he's black or whatever. This is real folks and our nations future is at stake! We need to avoid being divided amongst ourselves and stick together because that is where our power lies. Parties and platforms are a scam to divide us and make us weak. The platform we need to be concerned with is CORRECTING THE DIRECTION THIS NATION IS HEADED- NOW. We need to take our nation back before it's too late! |

Good luck with that. You ever heard fight fire with fire? Fight lawyers with lawyers. Or you get screwed. Sure, Cruz isn't perfect. No one is. Cruz at least fought for your rights. Who else has? Hillary? |

Fight fire with fire... Everybody gets burned...except the lawyers! The only Americans that hold titles of nobility...Esquires America was not supposed to be guided by nobility because they only have one goal to preserve their nobility and have the serfs pay for their lifestyle. Lawyers, the reason NOTHING improves when congress is in session, the tax code, obama care and countless other unintelligible rules that are forced on us for our own good... Lawyers? NO THANKS! |

"Parties and platforms are a scam to divide us and make us weak" "platform we need to be concerned with is CORRECTING THE DIRECTION THIS NATION IS HEADED" The problem with that line of reasoning is that what you think of as the right direction, is not what a bunch of other people think is the right direction. People with opposing points of view tend to congregate and form groups to help make their vision a reality. We call these groups political parties. They have platforms. You decry these things, then in the next sentence, advocate for them. |

Swampy.... not going to argue that D.C. isn't evil today. If you reject Cruz because he's a lawyer then you get a much worse lawyer. Hillary. Who's happy to harass a raped women in court AND in public to get the rapist off the hook. Don't let your disgust that is earned be turned by evil men against those fighting the evil. |

Power will always seek and find power. The only root solution here is to keep government sufficiently small and constrained such that it isn't that attractive to powerful special interests. |

My mistake on the Kasich win. I was watching the returns and could have swore he won one. Must have changed later. He is done for sure. A few Ted Cruz lies: "A couple of debates ago, (Donald Trump) said if you don’t support socialized health care, you’re heartless." "It has been 80 years since a Supreme Court vacancy was nominated and confirmed in an election year. There is a long tradition that you don't do this in an election year." The 2013 immigration bill "expanded President Obama’s ability to bring Syrian refugees to this country without mandating any meaningful background checks." http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/po litics/2016/01/fox_news_is_getting_really_good_at_ spotting_ted_cruz_s_lies.html I'm not saying he is alone in making misleading or false statements, just not living up to his supposed christian values. People tend to show their true colors when speaking in public. Not always on what they say, but how they say it, and the nervous ticks they have when speaking. Body language experts will urge you to watch someone speak to understand the true message behind the words including intent. They are having a field day with the Bern's wagging finger...} |
