I'm not old enough to have "seen it all". However, I notice this often in my everyday life, not just in politics. Have we become a country that can no longer produce people that are exceptional?
I disagree with the majority of the assumptions made by this author. I notice that even though he seems to want to have Hillary's babies, in a political sense, he's upset that she is lying...... It's a really Bizzaro World phenomena.
Aesquire - it is astounding how that hack points out all the mendacity of Hillary, but will vote for her in November. Also, based on the e-mails we little people have been allowed to read, I don't believe what he says about her being so well informed.
This comment more likely belongs in the <0 thread, but I find it interesting that while Hitlery continues to be excoriated by the mainstream media for her political sins (rightly so), including Benghazi, the pResident continues to get off scot-free.
Put another way, she has made - and continues to make - a convenient foil for the public's outrage regarding the traitorous corruption infesting the uppermost echelons of our nation's government.
Meanwhile, the Teflon coating encasing the person supposedly at the very top of our political food chain remains untarnished in the eyes of at least 49% of the voting public.
I find this interesting, and yet another benefit of owning the MSM (he doesn't own the MSM, but the folks who own him certainly do).
Speaking of Hitlery, I recently spoke with a voter who considers herself politically astute. She said, with all seriousness and quite a remarkable level of conviction, that's she's voting for her (Hitlery) this November.
This conversation took place in a setting that precluded an in-depth conversation, so I didn't get to ask my usual "How and where do you get your news?" questions, but I think I can safely make some reasonable assumptions.
Andrew Breitbart famously said, "The media is EVERYTHING."
I watched the "Sunday night when nobody is watching" debate last night. Those three people are really, really scary. Their solution? Raise taxes, raise taxes some more. Legislate equality of outcome, not opportunity. Everything is free. Ignore our military. Kneel to our enemies.
I agree, they come across as completely loonies to me as well.
I think they are definitely pandering to a portion of the base of their voters before the primary, no doubt. Because some of the ideas are so asinine that you'd have to be high to support them.
Of course, I think most of the progressive agenda is asinine anyways, but I digress.

I don't think you would be.... digressing.
Many of us here understand that Free Stuff offered by a Bernie or a Hillary or an Adolph, is a lie based on assuming most people are greedy idiots. And, historically, that's been a great way to bet. Generations of the most evil people on the planet have won that bet, for themselves, if not for the people they enslave and exploit.
But it's actually worth pointing out to the people that have NOT figured out that Free Stuff has to be stolen from others.
People that don't understand..... or never had it pointed out, that Charity is what YOU give to help others. Charity is not giving other people's stuff.
And it's always worthwhile to point out that preaching hate to gain power is a definition of evil..... and ask where you have heard the words "fatcat" "rich" or the phrase "make them pay"?
OK, Hillary lurkers. Support this candidate who has provably engaged in criminal behavior. I dare you.
Inspector General: Clinton emails had intel from most secretive, classified programs

excerpt:
EXCLUSIVE: Hillary Clinton's emails on her unsecured, homebrew server contained intelligence from the U.S. government's most secretive and highly classified programs, according to an unclassified letter from a top inspector general to senior lawmakers.
She is corrupt, provably criminal, dishonest, unethical, elitist, wages war on women, and hypocritical. Just like her former boss, Obama. Unlike Obama, Hillary has left a trail of slime since the Seventies.
Like Obama, there are three types of Hillary supporters.
