MAJOR score! Thanks buddy, just ordered mine! I used to subscribe, but culled some of my more expensive mags... glad to be getting them again, really good stuff. For those who don't know (few here I'll bet), you REALLY should grab this deal! |

"It's still overpriced." ??? Crusty, yeah, at the regular rates it's a little expensive, but they don't allow advertising and thus aren't ostensibly influenced by their ad clients... otherwise, I've found MCN's content well worth the money. I'm surprised you're not a fan... heck, $5 for a full YEAR. |

Sorry. Too many times in the past, either I've really liked a product, and they panned it, or the opposite has happened. When the stated that a Suzuki Savage was a better beginner's bike than a Buell Blast, I realized that they weren't afraid to let their preconceived bias determine their conclusion. Motorcycles are an emotional means of transportation. To claim that you can be unbiased because you accept no advertising is on a par with me claiming that one sports team is better than another with equal statistics. I dislike snobbery. MCN reeks of it. |

Lots of media folks claim to be "unbiased"... a long time ago I read a really good essay as to why that's an impossible and often disingenuous claim. And yes, they're somewhat snobby. Id've liked to have read that comparo between the Savage and the Blast... both are very good, tops in their category. FWIW I've seen 1 or 2 really cool bobber kits for the Savage... and guessing that they're simply 1 jug off an Intruder, like the Blast, they should be bulletproof. Despite the snobbery, they review lots of odd items the mainstream mags never do, and there's almost always some good content- often from letters to the editor. $5 for a Mickey D's "meal", or a year of decent reading? |

The medical advice alone is worth the price of admission and I enjoy the magazine. |
