I got this.
I was kinda put off at first, but it's pretty cool. It's a Bluetooth music player. The fastest in the galaxy |

I got some cool things this year, as with all years. But my favorite - Remington R1, 1911 in .45 |

It made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs. Hybrid, that's a great one. Remington probably makes the nicest mil spec gun under $1000. I bought myself a Springfield RO Compact and put an HK VP9 on layaway, but that doesn't count. |

Rick - last year the VP9 was one of my Christmas presents. My father does a gun each year. This year - 1911 Last - VP9 (which, by the way, is a DREAM to shoot!) before that - 10/22 takedown model before that - Troy AR15 before that - LCP before that - M&P 15-22 before that - Beretta 92 guns rule. |

That's a good list! Some solid choices. I've fired the VP9 via a coworker and it definitely impressed. There has not been an H&K that did not impress and they've all been very easy to shoot. The P7's may be an exception, but they're still accurate and fun, though a bit funky. |

I got AME heated grips. They have 6 temperature settings, grips shaped almost identical to Buell Traction grips, and multiple throttle cam options, which with one of them I was able to convert to 1/4" turn throttle! I verified full throttle range via ECM Spy, since it reads off the butterfly and I didn't want to remove half the air box to look down in there. |

I got a VCR tape . . "Learn to Break Dance in 9 Easy Sessions". I watched the first 3 lessons and tried throwing down some steps outside the subway station at 96th and Broadway today. Early reaction leads me to believe I need to complete more of the lessons before taking my budding talent to the streets. |

Hahahahaha . . . you may have heard the story but I have, actually, been doing that. My logic is as follows . . . I've been on a guitar buying binge lately and trying to practice more. My son continues to lecture me "only practice on the days you eat". So. . . . I figure . . . as long as I am looking at a subway station and folks seem inclined to toss money into any open case . . . And . . . I need to practice . . . and it's not always so well received in the house . . you can see this one coming. I often go out on the sidewalk on Broadway, open the case and just sit on the concrete wall and go at it. I mean. . . it's NYC . . who's gonna say anything? And. . . bonus. . . I make a couple bucks from unsuspecting tourists. Downside. . . as you know . . is that you need a big time permit to play **IN** the subway . . so the key is to know where the line is. |

My buddy Scott said he noticed an uptick of bums at the 2/3 subway line at 96th. This explains it all. Careful or deBlasio will make you the City Minstrel. |

Rein: if you're here for New Year's come across the street and you can be my back-up singer! :-) I also need to get the name of that place you hooked me up on the beach in Carlsbad. I'll be at Salk, in La Jolla, for the last week in January and want to spend a couple days on the beach before |

My boy picked this out for me.
We got the wife Darth Vader's Tie fighter years ago. She gave it to the kid who ultimately scrapped it for parts. I guess we have a Tie fighter again, albeit a wee one. |

The RX on the left was my Christmas present... The heads on the one on the right were cut by Jerry Branch himself. It's the slowest of the trio of course but it's no slouch for a Shovel . (Message edited by M1Combat on December 27, 2015) |

Think I'll dig out my old DVD of "Wild Wild West" with Kevin Kline and Will Smith and watch it again. |

The cool stuff I like is way more than I would ever let someone spend on me, but here's what family "pitched in" toward the purchase of.

@RickA, Tootal - Up next is likely an FXR to compliment the Sturgis . That'll be the one I allow myself to customize . |

Good question. I'm going to go with "whatever I want it to be given the present circumstances." |

Anova Precision Cooker. (Immersion Circulator for Sous Vide) So far i've done a pork loin and chicken breast, both fantastic.

Aside from the so called Sportster "Sport," the FXR is my favorite Harley. That T-Maxx looks like it needs LOTS of upgrades, man! I had 1/8 gas monster truck myself. That thing was broken as much as it was running, but it was crazy fun, and sent grown men running like girls. That precision cooker looks like a sci fi contraption. I don't trust it. |

It'll get there Rick, I can never leave well enough alone. It's currently partially disassembled as I broke the brake disc during the repeated stop and go of break in... |
