To keep supplying the rag heads with weapons in the hope that eventually they'll gain access to Assad's' nuclear weapons. Isn't that Americas plan and what's really going on? WW111! Time will tell. |

A Montana cowboy, a Native American and a Muslim student are waiting for their plane in a small Montana airport. The Montana cowboy leans back in his chair, crosses his boots on a magazine table and tips his big sweat-stained hat forward over his face. The wind outside is blowing tumbleweeds around and the old windsock is flapping, but still no plane comes. The American Indian clears his throat and softly speaks. "At one time here, my people were many, but sadly, now we are few." The Muslim student raises an eyebrow and leans forward, "Once my people were few," he sneers, and now we are many. Why do you suppose that is?" The Montana cowboy shifts his toothpick to one side of his mouth, and from the darkness beneath his Stetson says in a drawl : "That's cause we ain't played Cowboys & Muslims yet, but I do believe it's a-comin". |

I hope your joke is just a joke, and not a forecast into the future.... for the bloodshed potential is unmatched by any event since written history. The two most dangerous religions on the planet decide to duke it out? Some great words of relevance to the topic at hand, by Albert Einstein: “I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.” "It is my conviction that killing under the cloak of war is nothing but an act of murder." "Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding." "The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing." |

This "The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing." Is in direct conflict with this "Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding." |

In simple terms, violence, wars and conflict are the quickest way to effect change and have been over the millennia. Talking (diplomacy) is a slow and tedious process with a success rate equal to drug rehabilitation. |

Would you mind elaborating? Obviously the way I read into the statements differs from the way you read them. |

I read it as peace cannot be KEPT by force. Arriving at peace is a different mountain. Not to mention it requires both sides to understand. Unfortunately for us, this will likely never occur. Religions breed irrationality, because everyone is right, and everyone else is wrong. (Message edited by malott442 on December 10, 2015) |

Peace is absolutely kept by force. It is lost by weakness and the unwillingness to engage. See Obama's foreign policy. Those who do evil can not be reasoned with. They must be removed by force of arms. Diplomacy will always fail against such a threat. See Chamberlain. So those who stand by and do nothing are not keeping the peace, they are complicit in encouraging those who would do evil. |

I think you're trying too hard to plug Albert's quotes into real world situations. His quotes are more aspirational than practical.... Except the quote about ww3.... I'm pretty sure we are screwed this time around! you have good points in the fact that you know how to get the job done.... But when will the killing stop? When will understanding and peace be achieved without murdering the adversary? Sadly, probably never during our existence as a species. It takes unilateral desire for peace.... Or murder. It's a pipe dream, but I still long for a world of enlightenment. |

"Hybrid, I notice you never seem to say anything bad about the Dems. Why is that? You will about the Repubs, but not the Dems. Then you claim there is no difference, but it's not shown in your one sided disdain for politicians. " Really? I NEVER say anything about Dems? Hmmm... Look up. Or dont. |

"It takes unilateral desire for peace.... Or murder." It takes unilateral desire for murder, yes (this is why pacifism is literally a dead end). Peace takes more than one side willing to be peaceful, it isn't unilateral. |

The irony is that peace begins at home. Your war on black fellas for instance would have to end. Fighting for peace is a ridiculous and infantile statement. Hypocrit. |

My war on black fellas? But really, what war on black fellas? The only one I'm aware of is being waged by other black fellas. "Fighting for peace is a ridiculous and infantile statement." That is a ridiculous and infantile statement and reflects the naivety of a mind that has rejected reality. Oh, screw it, we should have let the Japanese run all over Australia. Enjoy your peace. Hypocrite |

Your war on black fellas for instance would have to end. Oh! You watch CNN! No wonder you are woefully ignorant. Watching the major networks is like seeing the world in a funhouse mirror. Not what's really going on, at all. You have to understand, it's the Democrat party, the Party of the Plantation, the party of the Klan, the pro-slavery party, that has set up the modern plantation for our fellow Americans that the D's insist are too inferior, too infantile to support themselves. Those dastardly Republicans, who insist that a man should be judged by his character, not his skin, are naturally blamed for everything. It's the nature of Slave owners to excuse the ownership of a fellow human by declaring him not human, inferior, and in need of care and guidance, the poor things. ( basically the Democrat Party line on everything ) Fighting for peace is a ridiculous and infantile statement. Now here, I have to agree. You fight to win. Or you lose and are enslaved. Binary solution set. Peace comes after. It's a temporary condition. Only enjoyed between wannabe rulers of others. Especially in Europe. |

Until adolescence. Then they fought. There always have been people that want to take other's stuff. The philosophical difference between a mugger in an alley and Saddam Hussein is scale, and perceived legitimacy. Kings make war to steal another King's stuff. Land, mineral wealth, people. Ignoring that in the nebulous quest for Peace is foolish. Or as Ultron put it the Avenger's movie, "I think you're confusing 'peace' with 'quiet'." ........................... The pundits here ( and in the next vid ) make a good point. We all agree the world has problems, but some people think the problems can be solved by decree, no matter the nature of mankind. http://www.pjtv.com/series/trifecta-105/they-suck- were-awesome-why-conservatives-have-more-fun-11510 / |

The only war on so called "black fellas" (<-- racist term uttered by Alfau) is being waged by the Democrat Party. Since 1965, Democrats have learned how to victimize, subjugate and enslave poor Black Americans (among other Americans) with the War on Poverty. Large swaths of the American People have been relegated to an eternal cycle of dependence on government which is nothing but a euphemism of the New Slavery. I will not repeat LBJ's disgusting quote about how N-word will be voting Democrat for the next 200 years. Conservatives believe the opposite. Given equal opportunity, the overwhelming majority of Americans can rise up to achieve their potential and throw off the chains of Poverty and Dependence. Some people will need help and will be given assistance but this is a minority. The American Taxpayer has spent $22 trillion dollars on the War on Poverty and all we have to show for it is more poverty. I listen to posters here on the BWBT who speak from knowledge and facts, not ignorance and derision. |
