Stock - 10R12A/10R12 - It works - enough said. Our Favorite - Denso Racing Iridium IXU01-27 - http://www.globaldenso.com/en/products/aftermarket/plug/racing/features.html,http://www.globaldenso.com/en/products/aftermarket/plug/racing/features.html} and http://www.sparkplugs.com/product.aspx?zpid=11283 This plug is known to fire even in the most extreme conditions, has a lifetime twice or more than stock, and is very difficult to foul. If you are unsure of your tune, then this plug lets you rest easy. Semi-New Player - Brisk- which has the multi-spark - BR10ZS and the Torc-hammer design BOR10LGS - http://www.briskracing.com/brisk-premium-multi-spa rk-plugs/premium-multi-spark-racing-br10zs-spark-p lug-detail and http://www.briskracing.com/premium-lgs-racing-bor1 0lgs-spark-plug-detail I and others running high comp (using BR08ZS) and stock running the BR10ZS find this plug to have an average plug life, however, the performance of the multi-spark plug is just like that of a multi-spark ignition offering a even more complete burn than the Denso, though it does not have the Denso long life - but at half the price of the Denso it is almost a wash. I tuned my bike for the denso and had to re-fiddle with the shimming for this plug. Many trying the BOR10LGS find it to work as well as the Torc-Hammers of old and like the build quality upgrade. Brisk is the maker of plugs for Lamborghini meaning a high quality material product. These plugs perform best when the tune is generally correct. New Player - Pulstar With Plasma-Core - HE2RT8 - https://pulstar.com/product/he2rt-8/?filtered=5391 4 and https://pulstar.com/ These are the new guys on the Block - offering the most bang and complete burn that can be had. Talking with Angelina - their phone tech - brought several things up of note - first this plug coolest operating number is actually a 9.5 equal to 9.5 NGK equivalent to a Denso 29 making it acceptable to a Buell engine running higher comp such as 11.0. No special wires needed, unlike other versions, and the 1125 would run JE2RT8. High quality materials used in build. Prices: Stock - 5 to 10 bucks Denso Racing Irridium - 30 to 36 bucks Brisk - 16 to 18 bucks Pulstar - 16 to 18 bucks I bring this up to inform, and allow questions. I did not bring up NGK or others because they are really no better than stock even in their Iridium versions, since all will drown equally under a rich tune - lol EZ (Message edited by ezblast on November 03, 2015) |

I've been seeing the Pulsestar ads and wondering if I should put them in my Electra Glide. |

That is why I posted this - I also was wondering if someone had tried them, and had a comment on them. I know they are new, but surely I'm not the first Buell rider to consider them? EZ |

10R12X. They resist fouling the best. Them fancy racing plugs just empty the wallet faster. |

I ran the Denso for over 40,000 miles on a Blast and it was just then that it was showing wear and that was high compression - so by all rights it should have been a cooler plug. EZ (Message edited by ezblast on November 04, 2015) |

Right now the plugs in the EG are still good, and now that I fixed the mixture by putting the stock mufflers back on, they will probably last a while. But I may try the PulseStar plugs next time I need them. The Iridium plugs in most newer cars are considered 100,000 miles plugs. They often look completely wrecked by the time that 100,000 rolls around. |
