it doesnt remove. its all one piece. only comes off if its broken. although guys have cut or broken the peg off. drilled the arm, and installed something different. |

UPDATE It does unscrew had to use a bistripper (or wrench that clamps down) to unscrew the toepeg |

It's not all one chunk of cast? any idea what thread it is? I dropped my X1 and it scraped off my peg. I drilled it and tapped it 1/4-20 and installed a cap screw with a little chunk of copper pipe. It was supposed to be temporary but it's been there like that for years now. The longer I own a bike, the more home depot it ends up carrying. |

Nope...it just unscrewed for me. Took some "man power" but it comes off...here is a link to what someone explained to me Natexlh1000 http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=20164&post=2510709#POST2510709 And here's a picture of my bent peg
Here is a link where I bought my new one from: http://www.buellsterparts.com/product.sc?productId =2305&categoryId=5 They also have a black one but be aware these do not bend if the bike is laid down |
