I was hoping to make it to winter before Lil Red's tires gave up the ghost. Leaving work tonight, one of the guys pulled up beside me at a light. Told me I had cords showing.
Rosso II Doesn't live long enough for me. I'm going to put Angel GTs on it. Here is the front:
Was just starting to notice some extra push on the bars required to turn. I always love riding on new tires. The bike will feel new again. I'm not sure I liked the Rosso IIs. The slide in a corner under heavy accelleration was quite smooth. The tread pattern of the front tire seamed to wear unevenly though I never felt it while riding. There was something that never felt exactly right. Could be my suspension settings. I tried altering them but never got rid of the not quite right feeling. I'll know after the Angels are on. I liked them on the XT. To keep me from taking a stupid ride I have started the removal process for the tires.

To keep me from taking a stupid ride I have started the removal process for the tires. Good on ya! I need to do that personal physical/mental block for myself. My front tire is down to nearly no shadow of tread left. I have a replacement tire on hand. But I have been short on time and physically whipped with the work load I am facing now. I spend time on here to rest a bit now and again. I cannot have the Uly taking up shop space now either. Hey RD.....ya wanna change one more? |

Vern, ask me that in 1 year and 4 months. I'll be retired and probably take the ride down and do it. I know work load. Going to Oklahoma this week. Only time we get is the time we make. The present moment is it. Side note: The sky was incredibly clear at 12:30 last night. I got the binoculars out and was amazed looking east above the moon there was an intense star field. Cranked up to 16x and I couldn't count what was in my field of view. |

I like the Diablos. I can usually get 4500-5000mi out of 'em. I'll be needing a rear here soon as well. The wife says it's my Christmas present. |

I change out the front whenever the rear is replaced. It doesn't always look worn out but it is worn and wont match up to the new rear the way I want it to. Before I owned Buells it didn't seam to make a difference. I can tell it on the XBs though. Driving me nuts not riding on this perfect weekend. Tires come in Monday. |

The Buell wears them out in pairs. The Suzook front has very little wear comparatively. |

Oh the sweetness! I got to take it for a little spin with new rubber. Like a new bike. |

Gone from the Angels Now that they are Angel GT, is the halo on the winged angel. Replaced with a GT. Still haven't got them scrubbed in. |
