Heee! it has a "Daytona Boss" muffler like my X1. The mounting hardware for those were CRAP but performance is noice. I ended up brazing my clamps to the pipe so it would stop shaking loose. |

110 rear wheel hp per the previous owner??? Right!!!!! I would love to see that since every 99 X1/S3 I have ever tested makes right around 85 hp to the rear wheel with those kind of mods. |

Erick Buell himself dynotuned it. I think the Daytona Boss doesn't add much to the top end just puts a huge lump in the midrange torque. |

The more interesting element of this particular bike is the venue . . . there was a LOT going on in Detroit at that time. Detroit was THE Buell market and HD was dying to get a dealer in the area. Quite a story ensued . . . . |

Even though he used the term "rare" a couple of times, the price still doesn't seem all that bad. I'm sure there are people that would have tried for much more. |

In 1999, Buell didn't make an "S3T" model like prior or subsequent years. Buell only made an S3 that you could option out how ya wanted it. DAve |
