If you ignore the fact that a smallish 1 bedroom apartment starts about $3,500/month.
quote:NYC school custodians took home an average pay of $109,467 in the 2013-14 school year — and 634 of the city’s 799 custodians earned more than $100,000 in salary and overtime during that time, city payroll records show.

I should also point out that in the fantasy world of bureaucrats, cutting people to save money, and getting the same job done means lots of overtime. Which costs more. ( and thus both inflated pay numbers, and stressed workers ) |

Not ignoring, so, it is like, $42,000 for the little apt. leaves $67,000. With the OT it's like working 2 jobs. So, divided by 2 is $33,500 to be a Boiler certified heating and air technician mopping up puke from government meals and having to put up with todays undisciplined youth. Court, Gig don't sound so good to me. |
