I disagree with you on several subjects, and I don't want Bernie to be President. But I agree he's currently getting screwed by the same leftist, stoner Media that fawns over Trump. Sure they hate him, but they also pimp the daylights out of him, because they think Hillary can beat him. You notice they don't like to mention the Republican candidates that are Black, or Women, or sane? Unless Hillary breaks whatever deal she has with Barry to suppress the truth about his actions in return for the Job, I don't see Hillary getting anything but cover and the Nomination. These are things that should disqualify her from being POTUS. You also seem to excuse her for destruction of evidence, as long as it's complete enough to not get caught. Funny, pointing to wrong doing to justify wrong doing. Were any of those emails from "White House staffers" dealing with top secret national security issues? I doubt it. How many people died as a result of those firings? The safe money would bet on zero. How many of those 22 staffers then ran for the office of the President. The safe money would bet on zero. There is a difference in both the severity of the transgression, and the level of trust and power asked for later. You are comparing apples and oranges. | ||

The Clintons have long used the tactic of "drip drip drip" leaking one tiny half crime at a time, weekly or even faster if the media parrots them fast enough. The logic is people get tired of hearing critics of the Clintons harp on small change criminality & morality. The long term result is to make the accumulated criminality ignorable by the Media and the biased. Arguing about HOW MANY e-mails of WHICH classification is not productive. If anything each little "mistake" is easily, if illogically, explained away, over time. Even, as in THIS case, the crimes are simply additional counts on the admitted crime of destroying documents. That she is guilty of a cover up is not even in question. So the Clintons get away with a lot, just by being skillful P.R. manipulators. Next week, what do you guess the "drip" will be? | ||

Todd, the secretary of state is an employee of the US people, acting on the authority of the US people, a accountable to the US people. The FOI laws (Freedom of Information) set out exactly the legal process for the American people to implement that accountability. It provides a means of responsible review and disclosure for, well, anything any US citizen wants to know about. The more serious step is subpoena. When you believe a crime has been committed, the subpoena process provides a means to get the evidence to either prove or disprove the crime. If you have something that you believe could be subject to subpoena, and you destroy it to avoid it being found, that in and of itself is a crime regardless of if it actually was evidence, or if a crime was committed or not. There is only one reason, from day one, why Hillary would run her own email server (in violation of the rules of the state department). It is so she can hold herself above the law. In doing so, she put her own self interests in front of the good of the country, because there is no way that email server could be secured against enemies foreign and domestic without a mature professional infrastructure. Indeed, google announced a breach where many "private" email accounts of government officials were breached by foreign intelligence, explicitly because these private email services are likely to have valuable information but are much easier to break into. A leader who does not hold themselves subject to the rule of law is not a leader, they are a tyrant. | ||

I will be amazed if the Social Justice dept. attempts a conviction, not because she is innocent but because It is corrupt. That however, depends on what arrangements Hillary has with Barry. We won't know that until the tell all books come out in a few years. If ever. Barry's regime is harsh on apostates. And curious reporters. The fact the Media is pimping for Hillary and ignores Bernie is also obvious. It's more understandable Tod is confused by that. I agree with Tod about the "Media" seeming to deliberately ignore Bernie. One of the most powerful tools in the arsenal of Media is the Editors, Producers, and up get to decide what is news-worthy. Hillary tells 10 professional minions & reporters in a fake conference she's going to make Collage Free, and it's her promise to the crowd at the well attended rally. On Every Channel heavy rotation. Bernie has a crowd of 30,000, and promises Free College, Beer and Social Security, and explains how, and it gets 3 lines on Drudge. Just not newsworthy. aka The fix is in.
