Matthew,I wouldn't mind coordinating the Spring event but I don't know anything about doing tee shirts and decals. |

Wasn't trying to put that extra task on you Mike! I just think we need an organizer for our two North Georgia events. I was this close to making t-shirts for Glitch Badness, but the timing was wrong, I just couldn't afford it right then. Taking responsibility for it a year ahead of time for next October, I can make that happen. If I get a vinyl cutter, I'll do stickers for both spring and fall! |

For T-shirts, I got a recommendation for Yetees Designs from Dragonslayer prior to the last "Buells in the Alps" meet and I was not disappointed. It's run buy a Bueller named Kevin Rogerson; he's located in the little town of Mill Spring, NC. http://www.yetees.com Kevin does really nice work and his prices are extremely reasonable. He even threw in a few extra T-shirts and made up some stickers at no additional cost. |

Hey all, what a great weekend (6days in my case). Well I made it home ok, a few more tales to tell too, such as the Virgina Trooper in the Red Impala plain wrapper on i81 who was coming up behind me when the tosser in the right lane cut front of me in a POS Sunfire and brake checked me, then cut back when I slid right to avoid him. Trooper cruised up alongside me smiled, waved, pointed to his dashcam and made a filming gesture, then slipped between me and the Sunfire, waved me by and then lit every light and siren. Instant karma. Great company, great riding, a superb trip, thanks to one and all, especially the Stelvio which performed flawlessly, I even ground the sidestand fully loaded in the twisties. Anyway I'm burnt, time for bed. Cheers. |

Good to hear, Grumps! A great ride ends with a roll into the driveway, but your run down to Suches GA and back from O Canada must have been EPIC! Aren't you in Toronto now? Love the Euro slang- "Tosser" is easier to say than "Douche Canoe". I also love cool cops! (Message edited by 86129squids on October 20, 2015) |

I can attest to Crusty's carving prowess, as before he left town we did the Blood Mountain / Wolf Pen Gap loop before stopping back at Rider's Hill. Me, without my wife on the back, and him fully loaded... right there in my mirrors the whole time. EIGHT GALLON TANK on that beast... that blows me away. A good time was had by all, and I for one will remember it always. Looking forward to next year, maybe sooner. |

That was Mr Grumpy's Stelvio that had he eight gallon tank. I think that Matt wrote Crusty while thinking Mr Grumpy. |

LOL.... Crusty's tank is like 1.2 gallons, little teardrop style. Grumpy's got the big supertanker... that's what I meant. |

I've done crazier things in my day! RoadCrust might do well to pack a decent siphon rig though, might save his bacon one day! |

Sorry peeps, I was mistaken, it's not an 8gal tank, it's 8.5 or 32l for the metrically enabled amongst you. It's an awesome bike though, and I'd recommend not trying one unless you're seriously considering buying one. |

The sad part is I had my digital SLR camera out in the car and could have taken a few shots in the lodge anyway. Obviously I wasn't thinking very well. I did enjoy visiting with everyone and I must apologize for leaving the conversation on Saturday night. It's just that even though the lodge was nice and warm, it had been a long time since I could enjoy a nice fire, which I consider an essential part of camping! Yes, I am a pyromaniac... It was a relaxing fire since Vern decided not to show up and I didn't have to worry about keeping an eye on the fire wood! Missed you buddy! |

You have no idea how fried I was about not making this event. I busted ass to get a job done that should have been done two days earlier, but for a rush job poked in on top of it three days earlier. Then as I rushed delivering it, the owner of the vehicle told me that if he got it back Monday instead of Saturday afternoon he would have been OK with it! NOT what he had said Thursday! I am sorry to have missed that Canadian traveling truck driver fella, and that vagabond guy, and the general group of Buell riding miscreants at TWOs, but to miss seeing Greg, especially in a cast, may be too much to take. Shit!!!Totally shit! |

Well there's no cast, just a surgery boot and one crutch which is a blessing. It's hard to carry your beer with two crutches! By the time I got home I was down to a cane, which is much better. So next year, if nothing else breaks, I'll be on two wheels again! I'm hoping next week to be able to ride my bicycle and build my leg back up again. It will really be good to get back in the wind, even if I have to work at it! |
