None of the local bike riders in my area even know what EBR is or that Erik Buell was back making bikes. |

^ I think there are a lot of motorcycle enthusiasts who had no clue about EBR. Well, in one week HOPEFULLY we will have some idea about the future of EBR. Assuming a legitimate buyer purchases EBR with the intent of resuming production, I wonder what will happen next? |

Interview with Erik himself about the EBR sale: http://www.powersportsbusiness.com/top-stories/201 5/07/16/turnkey-motorcycle-manufacturing-company-f or-sale/ I just noticed the last line of the article:
quote:The sale was scheduled for July 21 in Milwaukee, but we have learned it has been postponed for a bit longer for completion of some legal diligence.

I'll bet the legal due diligence thing indicates the quality and reality of an interested party(s). Hope it goes lock, stock and barrel, but with the addition of an outstanding financial team to guide the company's future. |

Nope, The last line of the article reads: "Interested parties can contact Steve Nerger at Silverman Consulting of Skokie, Illinois, at 847/470-0200 for details." So, if anywho wants the real dope, contact Steve! |

Interested parties in BIDDING can contact him, I bet the best you can get is a list of assets and debits. |

An update on Gas Gas was posted yesterday. A two-for-one deal for the new EBR owner? |

I think I'm going to puke... I thought it was their fault in the first place why EBR had to file for receivership due to not paying their bills on the development of the Hero bike. (Message edited by Germblast on July 24, 2015) |

I think I'm going to puke... Couldn't agree more. Though there are very few facts known, it's been intimated from a few sources that the lack of payments by Hero for EBR's engineering work was the main reason EBR was unable to pay their debts. |

The article can't even misspell the name of the company consistently. And the auction hasn't happened yet. I'd take it with a grain and a truckload of salt. |

A source very close to the situation, someone I would trust a lot, has informed that this story is NOT true. |
