Howdy all, hell it has been a damned tough month. Nothing like another gut check when the assembly line closes twice. F*ck. I am writing a tribute article about Buell, my experience with them, and the iconic models of the history of the bike. It is written from the perspective of a rider that was never a professional closed track kind of rider - just a guy that loved the places that you ended up at and the people you met along the way. Because nearly all the photos on the interwebs belong to someone - and it is a b*tch move to steal of of Pinterest or what have you in a poach of photos - I am asking for personal ride photos. I would like permission to include them with the tribute article. If you do post your photo - tell me whether or not you wish to be identified with the bike, as I understand we all may have different levels of security / paranoia levels. the article will going to an in air magazine for the affluent M.E. regions of the world - in front of those with money that fly on private small line jets. I appreciate your help. Thanks for posts (please include year and model - as sometimes we get to customizing and not all things are immediately clear ) |

This was posted on a forum, so I'm guessing it's public domain... always liked this one. Here's another nice turbo, seen at the American Sport Bike Customer Appreciation BBQ some years ago.

"always liked this one" Unusual to see a turbo Buell that still has a muffler. They normally don't bother. Neat! |

'you can't take that bike in water !' correction - you wouldn't - I most certainly will ! Love to see them in the wild - great photos ! I really appreciate the pics. I will admit - I am homesick for the Buells and people I met that ride them. |
