Sold my Uly last week. She was the last of my Buells. Just wanted to thank everyone here for their input, ideas and knowledge. Without this board my time with my Buells would have been much more complicated. I'll still check the board occasionally, just for old times sake. I was always more of a lurker than a contributor though! It's been a fun ride. Best wishes to all of you for the future. Ride safe. Chris C |

Yup it's like being a smoker or alcoholic, even if you no longer have a Buell, you'll forever be a Buelligan. I'll try and drop you a line next time I'm coming by Jax and we'll grab a beverage somewhere. |

Pffft. Most Buellers don't ride Buell's anymore. Don't let that get in your way. |

+1! I've been Buell-less for some time now, got an old airhead Beemer and an '02 Triumph Sprint ST currently. Every now and then my old boss at Smoky Mountain HD calls to ask/tempt me about a Buell they've traded on, or something at auction... a while ago he told me about seeing an S3T go for peanuts at auction, almost made me cry... I keep coming here simply because of the peeps, many of whom I've the pleasure of getting to know in person at various Bueller get-togethers. If the stars align properly, I'll be heading to Mark's WV shindig in a couple of months... Happy Trails, and keep the rubber side down! |

Does that mean I could show up for Mark's WV ride (haven't been for past couple years) on the big KTM and not be a sell-out for leaving the Uly at home? |

My last Buell ride was with a guy on a KLR-650 and another guy on a Yamaha Super Tenere (<-mentally insert monty python bad french accent when you read this). |

Good to know. I planned on keeping the Uly, but there is a guy at work that has asked me twice in 2 weeks if I want to sell it to him... |

You are going to miss it. Been there done that. I picked up an Scg about a month ago. The world is a little less askew. |

Mine's just broke in the garage. I feel Buell-less in my heart. Once a Badweber, always a Badweber. |

I'm a Buelligan and I sold my XB12 in 2013. I've got a worked over dr650 and a 01 Sprint ST now. |

Sad to say, I've transitioned to a CB500X. Commuting is my only riding these days & the Buell was just too much bike for it. |

Ft_Bstrd, I am a long-time Concours Owners Group member who doesn't own a Concours anymore, and you have paraphrased our COG slogan - "Come for the bike, stay for the people." |

Buellish, how's your bud like the Stelvio? I've been lusting for one for a while now and always interested in owners feedback. |

Innes,he likes it a lot.he had an excessive oil consumption issue that was fixed under warranty with a new head but no problems other than that and he's been riding the wheels of of it.He has other bikes but leaves them parked and only rides the Stelvio. |

I'll post some pictures later for all you little bike voyeurs. It's no Buell but it does what it says on the box. |

Here's a quick question for you: Should I take the X stickers off the front or not? Chris C |

Also, the side reflectors and a rear tail rehash should improve things a lot. If you could find some of those old/new style badges, like the big VFR and some others have to replace the other Honda decals, that'd be kewl. Nice scoot, otherwise! |

yep, lose that big logo. That's going to be a great bike that will serve you reliably for many years. |

Thanks everybody who commented. The X graphics have gone along with the CB500X logo's under the grab rails. I left the Honda badges and the labels on the swingers intact. A tail tidy effort is for the future. It's basically a single unit. Chris C |
