Oooh... I forgot about the Vaquero. It's tempting because I had a friend that owns a metric dealer and I'm liking those. |

My next will most likely be a naked, like a Triumph Speed Triple, BMW S1000R, Aprilia Tuono V4R, or KTM Super Duke. |

something older, big and dirty ... WITH AN ELECTRIC START CRF450X is the best example, but I'm not limiting myself to that brand/displacement |

Teeps - a friend has a couple Africa Twins that were gray-market now street-legal. One might be for sale (I can ask). You're in Torrance, we're up here in Lancaster. <EDIT> - he emailed back to say he's hanging on to his. Took him almost 2 years of looking and it popped up on Ebay. If I was to get another it'd be a sport tourer/cafe of some sort. Either a new one like this: Or an old one like this: The wife and kid like them a little older yet:

Not so much for purchase, but I've had these two projects on the back burner for some time:
Still looking for a mobility scooter to drop that spare Ninja 250 motor into.

I turned 30 in March and I've been daydreaming of trading/selling my one-owner CR for another supernaked ... something like the • Tuono V4R 1100 • Superduke 1290 • S1000R in that order, for the most part. This post follows a four hour garage session throwing the high bar kit on the "trusty" CR——goodbye to the clubmans and lower back pain (I hope)! A few seasons with the same bike and we turn fickle, you know how it is. That being said, it's probably a whole new bike now. |

The last time I was at my local EBR dealer, I spent most of my time there looking at the Triumpg Bonnieville. The EBR's were nice looking bikes but I didn't feel comfortable sitting on them and I could have almost purchased two Triumphs for the price of the 1190. Money talks! |

1999-2001 BMW R1100RT. If money falls from the sky then maybe a new Guzzi Norge. The Uly is just about at 100K and although I love the thing (never ending niggling issues and all) it's out of its element 2-up and 3 bags full trying to make serious mileage on the open highway. Loaded lighter on day trips through the mountains it rocks. At least for (some) achy guys in their 60's... |

Honda CB500x. I traded my Uly yesterday. Sad to see her go but my long haul days are over due to old age, bad knees and a bad back. It's a fun bike but a major step down from the Uly. However, it's going to be used for commuting 30 miles daily so is much better suited for the task. |

A buddy's Triumph Legend. It should make for a good two up bike and I'm sure there's room for a few modifications.
