Curious about two things dealing with the blast: 1) Without boring the cylinder and putting in a bigger piston, how much power can be pulled from a blast motor? 2) Outside of the long, hideous chopper frames - what swaps have been done? Any other chassis out there to stick a blast motor in? |

Matt's bike.
I like this one because I like hideous red tractors.

The blastard - just a blast frame with a bunch of mods around it, right? |

There was a swap where a person swapped out the vtwin mill for a blast motor in an XB frame. looked stock. IIRC the guy raced it. |

The Blastard - Had a lot done to it. I'm not good at what all was done. It has fuel injection running a modified XB ECM. Would be neat to put it on a dyno. |

RD, that's my XB in the background with the farmall blast. There is more Xb that Blast on my bike. The remaining blast parts are; most of the frame, forks, trees, gas tank, tank cover, and most of the motor. The rest is a mix of XB, Yamaha, and custom built parts. I was going to buy No_rice's XB blast before he did but it didn't have a title and title problems on motorcycles in MN are a pain in the ass. Matt |

Tim is a lucky dog. I wanted that one also. I have heard about going through Vermont for titles over on the TW forum. I have looked at that pic a lot and did not know your's was in the background. I like the stack flapper on the exhaust on the Bractor. I would get into way too much trouble if I had picked up the XB500. I want a Uly with a blast engine. |

You can bring it to about 35 rear wheel without changing piston, still a lot of other work to do. There is Mac motors -and they are sporting a Harris frame and they are gearing to sell kits or completed bikes soon, but I like mine and it's 10 lbs lighter, faster and handles better than theirs - you would have to upgrade the Mac to get it as good as mine now, but the Mac is different and they are finally close to production. I'll stick with mine though.
