I bought a Trek 7.2 FX Disc about a month ago. I absolutely love it. It's been a long time since I bought a new bicycle. Newer bikes are so much easier and more comfortable to ride. I can do 20+ miles and not even feel fatigued. I bought a hybrid bike because most of the roads around here are pretty rough. I think I need to lower the air pressure in my tires because bumps still feel pretty harsh on this bike. |

I mounted a RAM mount for my phone to my handlebars so I could use Strava to record my rides. If you aren't using an app to track your rides I highly recommend it. |

I have a Bianchi Boron road bike with top end SRAM controls and Zipp Wheels. I have a 16 lb full suspension Scott Carbon Fiber frame Mt. Bike with SRAM 11 speed single sprocket drive, Zipp Full carbon wheels and the new SRAM disc brake system. Just installed a new Rockshock with hydraulic lockouts from and rear. So yes is the answer to your question. It helps to have a son that is the Western sales manager for SRAM / Zipp. I get nice toys for working on his track motorcycle. |

I converted my older mountain bikes into hybrid bikes with new tires and stem extensions. Getting older these days. 1996 Proflex 656 for the wife. 2001 Giant hard tail for myself. Just started biking again recently. We were doing 20 miles on Saturdays and 10-15 miles 1 or 2 evenings a week until recently. Hoping to resume after her neck surgery. A few years ago I could only ride a few miles and was exhausted. Eating better due to food restrictions and stretching regularly has made a huge difference. 5 miles is nothing now, even after over a year break. Robert |

The proflex was always a little too small for me but a lot of fun on the trails And it was a good eal at the time. The rear suspension is only a spring but it just enough to take the jolt off the spine. I upgraded the front to an oil air shock. My wife loves it. Not uncommon for her to do 30 miles in a day. The $20 stem risers were the best money spent. Going to add a suspension seat post to my Giant because the bumps just kill my spine with high air pressure and I need that to keep up with the wife. |

Neat! I have a couple year old GT Traffic 2.0 with panniers. I intended on bicycle commuting, but changed jobs and work 20 miles from home, so I ride it for fun on bike paths. When I was in my late teens, I mountain biked pretty heavily, having a Schwinn s30, Cannondale, Kona Stuff, and a couple other I can't remember... |
