Took the long way home today (62 miles vs 18) to ride some of the funnest, scariest, and most beautiful roads I've ever seen, all through the Rockies West of Loveland. Pics are public in my facebook; It would take too long to upload and link them through photobucket. The best spots had no shoulder to pull over on, but I tried to get a good variance of pics. |

Hey phelan Nice ride. Did you encounter much sand on the paved roads? We usually postpone the canyon carving until the spring rains clear the roads. No joy for me riding in a sandbox! B. |

Not really much of any sand on the paved roads; we have had a bit of rain over the last week or so. I got tot these roads heading straight west on Eisenhower. |
