I'm hoping I can get away and spend some time with you guys. I'll need to see what my schedule looks like, and I have no idea where I'll stay, but if I end up sleeping on the side of the road it won't be the first time. Really hoping the weather cooperates. |

Chad- I'll have lodge room #3 reserved, which has 3 beds- Micah is taking one bed- at this writing, Jeremy may take the 3rd but not confirmed. Even if all 3 beds are taken, bring a sleeping bag and you're welcome. I've lost track of your whereabouts, AL is listed as home- weren't you in Nashville for a while? |

I'm back home in Nashville. Moved back last May. Alabama experiment is over and I'm glad to be home. I am hoping the weather cooperates and it's nice. If so, I may try to ride out on Saturday. It's not a bad ride if I slab it, just boring. If I take the back roads, it's an all day affair. I'm thinking get up EARLY on Saturday and head out by way of the slab. On a naked bike, that will be an adventure. 4 hours of wind blast...but I've done it before. Hang out with everyone Saturday, then do the back roads home on Sunday. I love ya'll, but I'm not riding a nekkid bike if it's cold and wet. Sorry. I've become a wimp in my old age. Not much wind protection on this thing, and it will do 100 miles before empty....lots of stops!

Squids I responded to your message awhile ago... did it go in a spam folder? Or are you using a different email then is hooked to here? Heck Chad we were discussing riding from nashville/murfreesboro, and I was considering taking the sm610 for this trip... lol. Doubt we will end up riding that leg of the trip though. Probably just keep them in the truck till we hit suches. |

Tim- dangit, we'll figure this out soon enough. I just wrote in another day off on my schedule for Wednesday. I'm thinking that if I can follow all youn's back to Nashvegas for Sunday and Monday, mebbe Tuesday, then back home Wednesday... Depending on everyone's plans, I'd do well to get back home and at least to pretend to get our garden (1) relocated and (2) started. Best thing we can do is to study the Nashville Scene, and please refer back to folks local there (Jeremy, Barker, Chad, et al), maybe me riding in... |

What the heck is Tom B doing lately?/! I ran 4th in a pack behind him, and a dude on a Husky supermoto... somewhere out there are goats on a roof. IIRC we outran the county mountie- passed one and we were GONE. |

I like me some goats on a roof. It's funny to watch them stepping over each other to get to the can of feed on the pulley. |

Tim, Jen, Graham, others whom may do a 2nd leg to Nashvegas- take a look at the Nashville Scene online, maybe we can figure out an itinerary, with or without the Pedal Tavern- that will have to be planned/reserved in advance! http://www.nashvillescene.com/ Ooooh! Found this, half off coupons: http://yipit.com/business/nashville-pedal-tavern/ Take a look around here FWIW: http://www.nashvillepedaltavern.com/ I'm not completely sure I can make it- my honeydo list has "get the garden relocated and started" at the #1 position, already getting the daily nag about it- I'll have to kinda play that by ear. |

Checking the weather and it looks like rain the 20th and the 21st and maybe even Sunday. Sounds like all the other times I have traveled to Suches in March. Thoughts and opinions? Everybody still a go? |

Italian bike + rain = potential problems. LOL! I got the strap on tank bag for my bike (no metal tank) and I'm ready to roll provided the weather is good. I have made the ride in the rain, and suck doesn't begin to describe it. Actually, I think we were headed back to Nashville in the rain. Hope I make it up to see all you guys and knock back a few with you. |

I'm yer huckleberry, fellas! I'm sure there'll be several familiar faces puttin' on the feedbag... Once I dump all my stuff in the room and claim a bed, time to (a) ride a bit more on FRESH PAVED WOLF PEN GAP, or (b) head out to C3 Central and see who's made it, or (c) just grab some brewskis from the store across the street and hang on the porch. A lot will depend on the weather- at this writing, got a 40% chance of rain Friday in Mur-vil. Weirdly, I'm OK with that- naturally I'd much prefer dry roads, but riding in the rain forces you to chill out, relax, and take it all in at 1/3 velocity. Also- in the past, when I camped, I'd run to the nearest Wallyworld and get needed grub, beer, and campside stuff- this time around, I'm planning on spending my $$$ at the store and at TWoS. I won't be campside cooking, might do some light cooking in the kitchen upstairs at the lodge, more likely just sandwich making. The folks at the Suches Country store need our money desperately, so I'm making a point to buy whatever I can there. Glad they've got beer, FINALLY, after all these years! So, yeah, dinner with you nutjobs Friday evening is on! Hopefully, given the short time we'll all be together, we can coordinate as groups either at TWoS or at C3 Central. Curious to know how that driveway is there, though... |

Chad, the definition of "Sucky Ride" is as follows: Rolling south on TN68 with Vern and Jeremy, heading to TWO for the first time, leaving Tellico Plains as dusk sets in. Then, my sorry aiss gets us lost. Then, GA60 in pitch black night, except for Jeremy's grace from GOD HID lights leading us on. I knew we were on an epic, great twisty road, awesome in the daytime, but we three blind Buellers were just trying to get there. Riding home in the daylight, with rain- much less sucky. |

"Curious to know how that driveway is there, though" According to Bill F,who went up it a week or so back, the driveway at C3 Central is not in real good shape. |

"driveway at C3 Central is not in real good shape." And, the Pope wears a funny hat. No doubt, given the precip levels lately. Hey, got an Idea! Let's have a C3 Central "hillclimbing competition"! Oh, right, that's what we'll ALL have to do just to get there. Wussies walk! |

Due to circumstantial stuff and what not, I may not be riding my Uly to the event. It just may be me in my Vette or Suburban for Friday. I'd probably stay Friday night and have to leave Saturday morning early. I have to be back for out of town family being in town kind of stuff that I was powerless to reschedule, such infliction being on this particular Saturday and Sunday. Given that.....do ya'll think they would let me park a four wheel vehicle at Twos for Friday if I stay the night? I'd like to at least get in the Friday dinner and a campfire session with ya. Brad, I guess I will bring a sleeping bag and pillow. |
