The problem is that we could make the entire region "dark" and they probably wouldn't notice. |

My take on the technology is: If you know about a certain type of technology, then there is plenty you don't know about. Anti-missile defense is one area I know for certain that is a lot further along than what you read in any document publicly available. Heck we were flying drones off the back of our Destroyer in the early '80's. We were also experimenting with other sorts of weapons that still have not made the news. IMO the best place to detonate a nuclear weapon would be off the west coast in a container ship where the fallout would be shot into the jet stream and spread across the entire US... |

^^ That depends on who "they" is. For example, one of ISIS's goals is to bring about the Armageddon. |

The Apocalypse is one of their enemy's, Iran's Mullahs, goals too. Yet they are happy to kill ISIS because of religious differences and, of course, they want to be in charge, post fall, when the 12th Imam rises. THAT's why the Saudis want the bomb. To hit Tehran & Qom before Iran takes Mecca. And I'd prefer not to speculate on how worst to hurt the U.S. and Canada. But....... Yellowstone? Not saying nothing. ...... |

"Yellowstone? Not saying nothing. ......" Good one! Knowing what we do now, yes. Back when I took part in the best/worst think tank discussions on this topic, there were several ideas tossed around by people without any nuclear training that got the attention of the moderators. Most depressing year of my life... |

I camp every year with a historical group and we have our share of military. ..etc. Campfire discussions sometimes turn from the Crusades or War of the Roses to present day. The best way to anticipate an attack is to think of how yourself. Occasionally you hear "If I didn't know better I'd have to report you...... because that would work." Helps to keep out of real trouble when the Colonel in Spec. Forces present can tell about the case of bumpers stickers we sent him...... "Infidel" in Farsi & Arabic. Also you get a discount if you send a case of Otis cleaning kits straight from the factory. |
