Stupid beyond belief. An insurance company suing one of their ex clients for 10 mil? So he's a dirtbag, he admitted to some doping, did they ever even find him guilty in a criminal court? Are they going after pretty much every pro athlete and ex athlete who doped or "admitted" doping? Insurance companies make their obscene profits by lying and stealing. This is how they work. Hypocrisy beyond belief. |

How much should BO and his minions have to pay for the lies they've told? As much as "W" and his minions had to pay. |

The difference obviously being that Lance has issues with a company with big pockets and well paid lawyers. I make no comment on the particulars of the case itself.... or on Lance. Full disclosure, I was a fan and happy my company sponsored the team. Rather less thrilled that he apparently lied about drug use. With politicians, they long ago passed laws to make themselves immune to lawsuit for their actions. Without going into detail, when a President lies about how much some project will cost the individual, there is nothing you or I can do about it other than remember the lie and if so inclined remember to tell others that the dude in the White House is untrustworthy. The bad part of that is that others either were already aware of the dishonesty, or are/were so caught in the cult of personality or ideology so as to reject the obvious. Some figured it out, some will go to their grave defending an unworthy imperfect man...... and lose credibility in the process. Lance also had fans that tried to ignore his violations of rules in his sport. It was easy to believe those accusing him of doping were jealous or had ulterior motives. This rationalization should have ended when he admitted it.... |
