Made a new friend today at Riders Hill in Dahlonega. It turns out Bill and I live over the hill from each other. He is a tech at the local BMW/Ducati dealer. This is the first R Nine T in Georgia. As you can see he couldn't leave it alone.
BST carbon fibre wheels,Akrapovic exhaust
LED bar end signals, custom levers and bar end mirrors.
LED headlight
A friendly reminder.
Turns out he's got ten bikes.Hopfeully I'll see them soon. |

That led headlight is actually not too expensive of a piece, and had the built in turn signals. |

I like the bike, but that one's a bit gaudy. |

Sliiiick The tail section dates from earlier than the '70's, maybe '60's It's a little crooked. I've been slightly tempted to ride my '77 R75/7 down to Glitchfest, but- I'll have to ride the Triumph just to barely keep up with everyone. |

OK, the sun and shadow tricked me, piece is straight. I can't make out the whole roundel though, other than the screws- the sun's glare is too bad to make anything else... it's old, though. Dude's a tech, and THIS is only ONE of his TEN bikes?!?! I'd be his beer buyin' huckleberry too! Buellish, be sure to yank his chain into showing up for Glitchfest! |

I'll guess the obvious, the tail section is a modified HD piece. |

Reminiscent of a TL 'hump'? Victory rear fender? Re-purposed pooper scooper? Trying to be funny on that last one, not derogatory... 3 strikes - and I'm OUT! 1313 |

That, some clip-ons and a flyscreen would make it just right for me. |
